Abstract
Setiap daerah memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda-beda dalam hal bangkitan dan tarikan perjalanannya. Hal itu dipengaruhi oleh jenis tata guna lahan yang ada, jika hanya daerah pinggiran kota maupun desa, maka bangkitan dan tarikan perjalanan yang terjadi hanya sedikit dan apabila berupa pertokoan, perkantoran maupun industri maka bangkitan dan tarikan perjalanan yang terjadi akan cukup besar.
Dengan kondisi daerah kawasan perkotaan di Kabupaten Gresik berupa perindustrian, perkantoran maupun pertokoan dimana terjadinya pusat kegiatan, maka perlu adanya akses penghubung yang layak untuk mempermudah perjalanan berupa sarana maupun prasarana transportasi. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut perlu adanya pemodelan transportasi yang digunakan sebagai acuan untuk mewakili karakteristik pergerakan dari setiap daerah, sehingga dibutuhkan sampel-sampel yang dapat mewakili tiap-tiap daerah dengan melakukan survei untuk mendapatkan data yang dibutuhkan.
Pada umumnya nilai R2 dipakai sebagai ukuran bagus atau tidaknya suatu model dan semakin banyaknya sampel maka semakin bagus nilai R2 nya yang didapatkan nilai R2 sebanyak 0,971289. Tetapi dari penelitian yang dilakukan didapatkan bahwa sampel kecil juga dapat menghasilkan nilai R2 yang bagus sebanyak 0,971482 pada ukuran sampel 60% D sehingga nilai R2 belum bisa dijadikan faktor penentu bagus atau tidaknya suatu model. Sehingga dihitung faktor lainnya berupa nilai confidence interval yang didapatkan sebanyak -1664237,969 – 1695749,337 tetapi nilai yang paling besar terjadi pada ukuran sampel 60% C sebanyak -3091048,007 – 3124020,637.

Every region has different characteristic in trip generation. Trip generation is generally affected by the type of land use that existed in the region, if it is just suburban areas or even rural areas, hence the trip generation happened will be small and if it is shop, office or industrial districts then the trip generation happened will be big.
With the condition of urban area in Gresik District as a center of activity because of being shop, office and industrial district, so connecting access from one place to another is completely needed that is decent enough to make trips between areas possible which are facility and infrastructure of transportation. To materialize it, a transportation modeling is needed as a representation of movement from society in the areas. So as requirement for modeling, samples that can represent the population are required by doing survey in the areas.
On general the value of R2 is used as the measurement whether the model is good or bad and the more samples are used the better the value of R2 is, which the value of R2 is 0,971289. But from the research that has been done, the smaller variation of samples has good value of R2 that is 0,971482 on the sample size of 60% D hence the value of R2 can not always be used as defining factor whether the model is good or not. So other factor called confidence interval is calculated with the result is -1664237,969 – 1695749,337 but the biggest the value of confidence interval is on sample size of 60% C that is -3091048,007 – 3124020,637.
