Abstract

Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) atau beton bertulang berserat baja adalah bagian komposit yang terdiri dari beton bertulang biasa dan serat baja. Inovasi penambahan serat baja pada beton bertulang telah banyak digunakan dalam bidang konstruksi. Penambahan serat baja dapat meningkatkan sifat mekanis beton, yaitu kuat tekan, kuat tarik, kuat lentur, daktilitas, kekakuan, dan beban retak awal (first crack load). Ketika retak terjadi pada beton bertulang-serat , pemakaian serat baja dapat memberikan ketahanan terhadap retak tersebut sehingga hasilnya dapat meningkatkan daktilitas dan kekerasan beton. Karakteristik-karakteristik permukaan dari serat baja dapat diubah secara kimiawi untuk memperkuat ikatan.
Hotel Ibis Surabaya pada kondisi sebenarnya dibangun menggunakan struktur beton bertulang konvensional dan memiliki 10 lantai. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini, gedung hotel tersebut akan dimodifikasi menggunakan Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) yang perhitungan struktur tulangannya mengacu pada peraturan RILEM TC 162-TDF. Kemudian setelah didapatkan jumlah tulangannya akan dibandingkan dengan jumlah tulangan beton konvensional, dan output akhirnya adalah mengetahui persen tulangan yang dapat tereduksi. Penulis memodelkan struktur dalam program bantu ETABS. Batasan perencanaan yang dilakukan adalah struktur pelat dan balok saja.
Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan dengan penambahan 0,25% serat baja dengan panjang 35 mm diameter 0,55 mm, tulangan lentur di balok dapat tereduksi sebesar 9,5% dan tulangan gesernya dapat tereduksi sebesar 54%, sedangkan untuk di pelat lantai tulangan dapat tereduksi sebesar 39% dan pelat tangga sebesar 23%. ===============================================================================Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) or reinforced steel fibrous concrete is a composite part composed of ordinary reinforced concrete and steel fibers. The innovation of adding steel fibers on reinforced concrete has been widely used in the field of construction. The addition of steel fibers can improve the mechanical properties of the concrete, namely compressive strength, tensile strength, bending strength, ductility, stiffness, and crack load first. When cracks occur in fiber-reinforced concrete, the use of steel fibers can provide resistance to the crack so that the result can increase the ductility and hardness of the concrete. The surface characteristics of steel fibers can be chemically altered to strengthen the bonds.
Hotel Ibis Surabaya is in real condition built using a conventional reinforced concrete structure and has 10 floors. In this Final Project, the hotel building will be modified using Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) whose calculation of reinforcement structure refers to the RILEM TC 162-TDF regulation. Then after getting the number of reinforcement will be compared with the number of conventional concrete reinforcement, and the final output is knowing the percent of reinforcement that can be reduced. The author modeled the structure in the ETABS auxiliary program. The limits of planning are the structure of plates and beams only.
From the calculation results obtained with the addition of 0.25% steel fiber with a length of 35 mm and diameter 0.55 mm, flexural reinforcement in the beam can be reduced by 9.5% and shear reinforcement can be reduced by 54%, while for the reinforcement plate can be reduced by 39% and the ladder plate by 23%.
