Abstract
Indonesia merupakan negara dengan jumlah penduduk terbanyak yang menduduki posisi empat dunia. Dengan semakin meningkatnya jumlah penduduk, maka terjadi peningkatan jumlah sampah. Sampah plastik merupakan sampah yang sulit untuk diuraikan secara alami. Penanggulangan limbah plastik belum mampu mengurangi volume limbah plastik di Indonesia. Permasalahan dapat ditanggulangi dengan alat produksi bahan bakar minyak dari limbah plastik menggunakan metode pemanasan pirolisis. Alat ini memiliki crusher sebagai pencacah plastik, ruang pemanasan, 2 condensor, dan 4 storage untuk proses packaging. Salah satu bagian terpenting pada proses produksi limbah plastik menjadi Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) terletak pada tangki penyimpanan yang memiliki sistem otomasi level pada storage untuk packaging per liter. Telah dilakukan pengujian terhadap 4 macam sensor level, akhirnya dipilih float switch horizontal karena dapat mendeteksi ketinggian pada fluida jenis bensin. Pengujian sistem otomasi level dilakukan dengan mengetahui respon solenoid valve terhadap sensor. Respon sistem otomasi level saat close loop pada storage menunjukkan saat sensor 1 dalam kondisi low maka solenoid valve 1 membuka 100% serta solenoid valve 2 menutup 0% dan sebaliknya. ============================================================================================================
Indonesia is a country with the most populations that occupy the world's four positions. With the increasing population, there is an increase in the amount of waste. Plastic waste is a waste that is difficult to decipher naturally. Plastic waste management has not been able to reduce the volume of plastic waste in Indonesia. Problems can be overcome by means of production of fuel oil from waste plastic using pyrolysis heating method. This tool has a crusher as a plastic counter, space heating, 2 condensers, and 4 storage for the packaging process. One of the most important parts in the process of producing plastic waste into fuel oil is in the storage tank which has a level automation system for storage for packaging per liter. It has been tested on 4 types of level sensors, finally the horizontal float switch is chosen because it can detect the height of the type of gasoline fluid. Testing of level automation system is done by knowing solenoid valve response to sensor. The response of the level automation system during open loop on storage shows that when sensor 1 is in low condition the solenoid valve 1 opens 100% and the solenoid valve 2 closes 0% and forward.
