Abstract

Pada era globalisasi perkembangan zaman yang modern diperlukannya suatu inovasi dalam pemanfaatan energi, khususnya pemanfaatan energy terbarukan. Dalam pemanfaatan energi terbarukan digunakan gas HHO sebagai penghemat bahan bakar sekaligus untuk mereduksi kadar gas buang hasil dari pembakaran kendaraan bermotor. Gas HHO didapat dari system elektrolisis. Elektrolisis adalah suatu proses untuk memisahkan senyawa kimia menjadi unsur-unsurnya atau memproduksi suatu molekul baru dengan memberi arus listrik. Sedangkan elektrolisis air adalah proses elektrolisa yang dimanfaatkan untuk memecah molekul air (H2O) menjadi Hidrogen (H2) dan Oksigen (O2). Pada penambahan gas HHO dapat memberi efisiensi CO 17,02%, CO2 24,12%, HC 55,83%, O2 108,2%. Sedang untuk konsumsi bahan bakar didapat efisiensi sebesar 37,25%. Pengujian sensor sendiri didapatkan nilai maksimal histerisis 4,7% Dan akurasi 96%. Dengan mengetahui kadar oksigen dapat disimpulkan efisiensi pembakaran pada ruang pembakaran dengan set point 15%.

In the era of globalization of modern times the
development of an innovation in the use of energy, especially the utilization of renewable energy. In the utilization of renewable energy used HHO gas as a fuel saver as well as to reduce the exhaust gas content from motor vehicle burning. HHO gas is
obtained from the electrolysis system. Electrolysis is a process for separating chemical compounds into their elements or producing a new molecule by giving an electric current. While electrolysis of water is an electrolysis process that is utilized to break down
water molecules (H2O) into Hydrogen (H2) and Oxygen (O
2). On the addition of HHO gas can provide CO efficiency of 17.02%, CO2 24.12%, HC 55.83%, O2 108.2%. Being for fuel consumption obtained an efficiency of 37.25%. Sensory test got the maximum value of hysterisis 4.7% And 96% accuracy.
By knowing oxygen level can be concluded combustion efficiency in combustion chamber with set point 15%
