Abstract
Penemuan struktur batu bata berbentuk huruf “J” (disebut juga Candi Terung) di Desa Terung Wetan pada tahun 2012 diduga merupakan bangunan peninggalan dari zaman Kerajaan Majapahit. Namun belum ada penelitian lebih lanjut untuk menemukan persebaran struktur yang ada di daerah tersebut. Survei geofisika dengan metode geolistrik resistivitas 2D konfigurasi dipole-dipole dilakukan di kawasan Situs Kadipaten Terung, Desa Terung Wetan, Kecamatan Krian, Kabupaten Sidoarjo untuk memetakan persebaran struktur bawah permukaan yang ada. Pemilihan konfigurasi dipole-dipole karena merupakan susunan yang paling sensitif terhadap variasi resistivitas secara horizontal. Dari hasil pengukuran resistivitas 2D sebanyak 5 lintasan terdapat beberapa anomali resistivitas. Ditinjau dari lokasi Candi terung, lintasan 1 dengan arah utara-selatan di sisi barat dengan panjang 62 meter terdapat nilai anomali resistivitas sebesar 13,2-60 Ωm pada kedalaman 1-3,67 m; pada lintasan 2 dengan arah barat daya-timur laut di sisi barat laut dengan panjang 46,5 meter terdapat nilai anomali resistivitas sebesar 13,8-75 Ωm pada kedalaman 1-2,75 meter; pada lintasan 3 dengan arah barat laut-tenggara di sisi barat daya dengan panjang 46,5 meter terdapat nilai anomali resistivitas sebesar 12,7 – 75 Ωm pada kedalaman 1-2,75 meter; pada lintasan 4 dengan arah barat-timur di sisi selatan terdapat nilai anomali resistivitas sebesar 15-75 Ωm; dan pada lintasan 5 dengan arah utara-selatan di sisi timur dengan panjang 62 meter terdapat nilai anomali resistivitas sebesar 15,7-100 Ωm. Anomali-anomali tersebut diindikasikan sebagai struktur batu bata bawah permukaan yang tersebar di seluruh lintasan penelitian dan merupakan kemenerusan dari Candi Terung ke arah barat dan selatan.

The discovery of J-shaped brick structure (also called Candi Terung) in Terung Wetan Village in 2012 is presumed to be a heritage building from the era of Majapahit Kingdom. However, there was no further research to find the distribution of existing structures in the area. Geophysical survey with geoelectrical 2D resistivity method dipole-dipole configuration was done in Kadipaten Terung Site, Terung Wetan Village, Krian Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency to map the distribution of existing subsurface structures. The choice of dipole-dipole configuration is because it is the most sensitive arrangement of horizontal resistivity variations. From the 2D resistivity measurements of 5 lines there are several resistivity anomalies. From the location of Candi Terung, the line 1 with the north-south direction on the west side with a length of 62 meters there is an resistivity anomaly value of 13.2-60 Ωm at a depth of 1-3.67 m; line 2 with southwest-northeast direction on the northwest side with a length of 46.5 meters there is a resistivity anomaly value of 13.8-75 Ωm at a depth of 1-2.75 meters; on line 3 with northwest-southeast direction on the southwest side with a length of 46.5 meters there is a resistivity anomaly value of 12.7 - 75 Ωm at a depth of 1-2.75 meters; line 4 with the east-west direction on the south side there is a resistivity anomaly value of 15-75 Ωm; and on line 5 with north-south direction on the east side with a length of 62 meters there is a resistivity anomaly value of 15.7-100 Ωm. The anomalies are indicated as subsurface brick structures scattered throughout the research lines and is the continuity of the Candi Terung to the west and south.
