Abstract

Pulau Bawean merupakan salah satu pulau wisata yang ada di Jawa Timur, tepatnya berada di Kabupaten Gresik. Banyak wisatawan yang ingin berkunjung ke pulau tersebut. mengunjungi Pulau Bawean bisa menggunakan moda transportasi laut berupa kapal laut dan moda transportasi udara berupa pesawat terbang perintis. Pesawat terbang tersebut berkapasitas 15 orang. Namun pada musim tertentu seperti hari Raya Idul Fitri terjadi penumpukan penumpang sehingga masih banyak calon penumpang tidak mendapatkan tiket. Di sisi lain tidak mendapatkan tiket diakibatkan cuaca terutama gelombang tinggi air laut yang memaksa kapal tidak bisa berlayar, sehingga perjalanan calon penumpang terhambat. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut maka didesain sebuah kapal multipurpose yang bisa tahan terhadap gelombang air laut hingga lebih dari 4 meter dan bisa menampung calon penumpang berkapasitas lebih banyak. Tidak hanya penumpang, tetapi sepeda motor, mobil, bahkan hewan ternak dapat diangkut oleh kapal multipurpose tersebut. langkah pertama yaitu menentukan ukuran utama kapal untuk mengetahui besarnya tahanan kapal dan daya motor kapal yang dibutuhkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisa tahanan kapal yang digunakan menurut nilai tahanan kapal dan daya motor yaitu Yanmar 6RY17W sebanyak 2 buah masing-masing 552 kW. dan propeller yang dibutuhkan adalah propeller dengan tipe B5-60. Setelah dihitung stabilitas kapal maka kapal multipurpose layak untuk berlayar di perairan Gresik – Bawean.======================================================================================================================Bawean Island is one of the tourist island in East Java, precisely located in Gresik Regency. Many tourists who want to visit the island. visiting Bawean Island can use sea transportation modes in the form of ships and air transportation modes in the form of pioneer aircraft. The aircraft has a capacity of 15 people. But in certain seasons such as Idul Fitri feast there is a buildup of passengers so that many passengers do not get tickets. On the other hand do not get a ticket due to the weather, especially high waves of sea water that forces the ship can not sail, so the passengers travel is hampered. To overcome this problem, it is designed a multipurpose ship that can withstand sea water waves up to more than 4 meters and can accommodate more passengers with capacity. Not only passengers, but motorcycles, cars, even farm animals can be transported by the multipurpose ship. the first step is to determine the main size of the ship to know the magnitude of ship resistance and motor power required ship. Based on the results of the ship resistance analysis used according to the value of ship resistance and motor power Yanmar 6RY17W as much as 2 pieces each 552 kW. and the required propeller is a propeller of type B5-60. After calculating the stability of the ship, the multipurpose vessel is suitable for sailing in Gresik – Bawean.
