Abstract
Monitoring adalah suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan guna memantau sesuatu, dalam hal ini monitoring yang dilakukan adalah untuk memantau variabel dari alat hidrostatik skala laboraturium yaitu debit aliran dan level ketinggian air pada tangki. Monitoring ini dilakukan dengan memasang sensor water flow meter, ultrasonik. Sistem monitoring diperlukan agar kita dapat mengetahui setiap kenaikan debit aliran atau ketinggian level pada tangki, dengan kita mengetahui setiap kenaikan variabel debit flow dan level kita dapat mengetahui karakteristik dari grafik sistem monitoring. Air akan dipompa keatas menuju tangki 1 dan 2. Pada tangki 1 air akan melewati orifice terlebih dahulu, setelah itu air akan melewati MOV (Motorized Operated Valve), setelah itu air akan melewati sensor water flow meter untuk diukur besarnya debit aliran air yang mengalir masuk kedalam tangki lalu diukur ketinggiannya oleh sensor ultrasonik. Sedangkan pada tangki 2 air akan dipompa keatas dan melewati sensor water flow meter dan langsung masuk kedalam tangki, lalu diukur dengan sensor ultrasonik untuk ketinggian yang ada pada tangki. Lalu setiap sensor akan mengirim data ke mikrokontroler untuk diolah menjadi data digital, setelah itu mikrokontroler menampilkan pada layar LCD 20x4.============================================================== Monitoring is an activity carried out in order to monitor something, in this case the monitoring carried out is to monitor the variables of the laboratory-scale hydrostatic equipment, namely the flow rate and the water level in the tank. This monitoring is done by installing an ultrasonic water flow meter sensor. A monitoring system is needed so that we can find out every increase in flow rate or height of the level in the tank, with us knowing that each increase in the variable flow rate and level we can find out the characteristics of the monitoring system graph. Water will be pumped up to tank 1 and 2. In tank 1 water will pass through the orifice first, after that the water will pass through the MOV (Motorized Operated Valve), after that the water will pass through the water flow meter sensor to measure the flow rate of the flowing water into the tank then the height is measured by ultrasonic sensors. Whereas in the 2 tank the water will be pumped up and past the water flow meter sensor and directly into the tank, then measured with an ultrasonic sensor for the height in the tank. Then each sensor will send data to the microcontroller to be processed into digital data, after which the microcontroller displays on the 20x4 LCD screen.
