Abstract

Surabaya adalah salah satu kota besar di Indonesia. Pada tahun 2017, Surabaya dinobatkan sebagai kota cerdas (Smart City). Smart City sangat identik dengan kemajuan teknologi di segala bidang. Kemajuan teknologi juga dapat diterapkan dalam dunia pendidikan, seperti sistem monitoring kehadiran siswa berbasis IT. Meningkatnya pelanggaran siswa sekolah dalam hal membolos sangat memprihatinkan. Akan tetapi hal tersebut tidak ada penanganan secara langsung dari pihak sekolah. Hal ini mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran disekolah dan diperlukan sistem monitoring secara otomatis agar dapat mengetahui kehadiran siswa disekolah. Maka dari itu pada Tugas Akhir ini dibuatlah sistem monitoring dan pelaporan kehadiran siswa disekolah dengan menggunakan akses fingerprint, sehingga dapat mengurangi pelanggaran membolos tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah pembacaan sidik jari atau yang lebih sering dikenal dengan metode minutiea. Metode ini sering digunakan sebagai metode perbandingan sensor fingerprint berdasarkan pencocokan pola minutiea. Data yang didapat akan dikelola oleh Arduino Mega dan akan ditampilkan dalam database pada Website. Setelah dilakukan pengujian, hasil dari pengujian menunjukan bahwa pembacaan sensor fingerprint dan kecocokan ID sebesar 96%. Hasil data dapat dilihat pada komputer dan Website sekolah, dimana proses ini membantu guru untuk mengetahui siswa yang tidak hadir sekolah dan membantu dalam merekap kehadiran siswa.===================================================================================================================================================================== Surabaya is one of the big cities in Indonesia. In 2017, Surabaya was named the smart city (Smart City). Smart City is synonymous with technological advances in all areas. Technological advances can also be applied in education, such as IT-based attendance monitoring systems. Increased violation of school students in terms of ditching is very alarming. However, there is no direct treatment from the school. This affects the learning process in schools and monitoring system is required automatically in order to know the presence of students in school. Therefore, in this final project, monitoring and reporting system of school attendance by fingerprint access can be made, thus reducing the trespass violation. The method used is fingerprint reading or more often known as minutiea method. This method is often used as a fingerprint sensor comparison method based on minutiea pattern matching. The data obtained will be managed by Arduino Mega and will be displayed in the database on the Web. After testing, the results of the test show that the fingerprint sensor readings and ID matches are 96%. The results of the data can be seen on the computer and the school Website, where this process helps the teacher to know the students who are not attending school and help in recording student attendance.
