Abstract

PT. INKA (Persero) Madiun merupakan sebuah perusahaan industri manufaktur yang memproses pembuatan kereta api. Proses pembuatan kereta api dimulai dari proses incoming, fabrikasi, finishing, dan final testing. Kereta api terdiri dari beberapa bagian antara lain lokomotif, bogie, carbody. Carbody merupakan salah satu bagian terpenting karena berkaitan dengan keselamatan penumpang. Carbody terdiri dari beberapa bagian yaitu underframe, roof, sidewall, dan endwall yang saling disambung dengan menggunakan teknik pengelasan. Hasil dari proses pengelasan dilakukan pemeriksaan oleh divisi Quality Control dan apabila ditemukan ketidaksesuaian dicatat dalam NCR (Nonconformity Report for Product). Selama ini pengendalian kualitas di PT. INKA (Persero) dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan data yang telah diperoleh dari NCR. Data pemeriksaan proses pengelasan carbody KRL Railink Bandara Soetta dilakukan analisis kapabilitas proses untuk mengetahui apakah proses pengelasan pada setiap bagian carbody telah kapabel atau tidak. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hasil pengelasan pada bagian underframe, roof, sidewall, dan endwall tidak terkendali secara statistik karena ada titik pengamatan yang berada diluar batas kendali. Hasil analisis kapabilitas proses pengelasan carbody tidak kapabel ditunjukkan dengan nilai equivalent P%PK < 1, nilai P%PK untuk bagian underframe sebesar 0.1709, nilai P%PK untuk bagian roof sebesar 0.1687, nilai P%PK untuk bagian sidewall sebesar 0.1685, dan nilai P%PK untuk bagian endwall sebesar 0.1805.

PT INKA (Persero) Madiun is a company manufacturing industry in the making of trains. The process of making trains begins with incoming, fabrication, finishing, and final testing. The train consists of several parts such as locomotives, bogies, carbody. Carbody is one of the most important parts as it relates to passenger safety. Carbody consists of several parts underframe, roof, sidewall, and endwall are connected by using welding techniques. The results of the welding process are examined by the Quality Control division and if nonconformities are recorded at NCR (Nonconformity Report for Product). During this quality control in PT. INKA (Persero) is done descriptively using data obtained from NCR. Data examination of the carbody welding process KRL Railink Soetta Airport carried out the analysis of process capability to determine whether the welding process on each part of the carbody has been capable or not. The results of the analysis is welding process on the underframe, roof, sidewall, and endwall uncontrolled statistically because there is a plot outside the control limits. The results of capability process analysis are welding process of carbody is not capable with the value for equivalent equivalent P%PK < 1, a value of P%PK for underframe is 0.1709, a value of P%PK for roof is 0.1687, a value of P%PK for sidewall is 0.1685 and a value of P%PK for endwall is 0.1805.
