Abstract

Air adalah unsur terpenting bagi makhluk hidup. PDAM merupakan penyedia, produksi dan distributor air bersih yang layak digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan kehidupan sehari-hari bagi masyarakat di Indonesia. Air layak dikonsumsi apabila kualitas air tersebut sesuai dengan Standar Permenkes RI no. 492 tahun 2010. Variabel yang dijadikan indikator kualitas adalah kekeruhan air dan sisa chlor. Kekeruhan yang tidak melebihi 5 NTU dan sisa chlor yang berada di antara 0,2 Mg/L sampai 1 Mg/L. Air yang di produksi mengalami beberapa tahap penjernihan air sehingga air tidak mengandung zat yang dapat merugikan bagi yang mengonsumsi. Yang menjadi permasalahan adalah apakah proses produksi air di PDAM Surabaya telah kapabel pada bulan Juli dan Agustus 2017. Dengan menggunakan peta T2 Hotelling individu dan peta M serta indeks kapabilitas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses produksi air PDAM Surabaya pada bulan Juli dan Agustus 2017 telah kapabel juga terjadi peningkatan kapabilitas pada bulan Agustus, karena proses terkendali dan indeks kapabilitas (Cp) lebih dari 1 baik pada bulan Juli maupun Agustus 2017. Dalam hal ini indeks Cp pada bulan Juli 3,86 dan bulan Agustus 4,82. ========================================================================================================== Water is the most important element of living things. PDAM is a provider, production, and distributor of clean water that is suitable to fulfill needed for daily life people in Indonesia. Water can be consumed if the water does not exceed the limit that has been determined by Permenkes RI no. 492 of 2010. The variable of quality indicator are turbidity and chlor residue. Turbidity of water that does not exceed 5 NTU and chlor residue which is between 0.2 Mg / L to 1 Mg / L. Water in production undergoes several stages of water purification so that water does not contain substances that can be harmful to those who consume. The problem in this research is have the water production process has been controlled statistically in July and August 2017. By using individual T2 Hotelling control chart and M control chart, then capability process index to know the value of PDAM water production capability index, can be conclude that the water production process in PDAM Surabaya in July and August 2017 has been capable with process improvement in August, because the process has been cotrolled and have capability process index (Cp) more than 1 both in July and August. In this case Cp index in July is 3.86 and in August is 4.82
