Abstract

Persediaan bahan baku adalah faktor yang sangat penting dalam menentukan proses produksi. Dalam persediaan bahan baku terjadi penyusutan, sehingga perlu adanya perencanaan yang baik dalam menentukan banyaknya persediaan. Produksi semen yang dihasilkan PT Semen Gresik yaitu PPC, OPC, dan White Cement. Bahan baku utama semen adalah terak. Penyusutan yang terjadi pada terak adalah terak mengalami penggumpalan, pengendapan pada domb, dan terjatuhnya terak pada proses produksi, sehingga perlu diperhitungkan penyusutan yang terjadi pada terak karena berpengaruh pada proses produksi semen. Untuk menghitung persediaan dapat digunakan Economic Production Quantity, dengan mempertimbangkan penyusutan terak sebanyak 5%, didapatkan perhitungan volume produksi terak per siklus dan total cost. Hasil simulasi Tugas Akhir ini menunjukkan bahwa total cost yang didapatkan dari Economic Production Quantity tanpa penyusutan mengalami penurunan sebesar 1,8% dari total cost perusahaan, dan total cost Economic Production Quantity yang mempertimbangkan penyusutan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 3,05% dari total cost perusahaan. Terjadi peningkatan sebesar 2,4% pada volume produksi per siklus dari Economic Production Quantity tanpa penyusutan dengan mempertimbangkan penyusutan. Perencanaan produksi terak pada tahun 2018 dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan penyusutan sebesar 5% dari permintaan produksi. ========================================================= Stock of raw material is an important factor to determine the production process. If the inventory is deficient, it will hamper the production process, but the excessive inventory cause a huge inventory holding cost. So, company should have a good planning to determine amount of inventory. Another problem in inventory is storing material for too long. It cause depreciation of the material, so the depreciation also have to be considered in determination of inventory. As a cement producer, PT Semen Gresik produces three types of cement, like PPC, OPC, and White Cement. PT Semen Gresik has a great potential in the cement-making industry, so they have to plan their production planning very well. Slag is main material of cement production. The problem that usually happened to slag is slag clot. It is necessary to count the damage that will happen to slag. Economic Production Quantity is a method to count an effective inventory to minimize the inventory costs. The results that obtained from the simulation of this research are total cost that obtained from Economic Production Quantity without depreciation decrease 1,8% from the total cost of the company. Then, total cost of an optimal Economic Production Quantity by considering the depreciation decreases 3,05% from the total cost of the company. The total cost of the company is Rp 4.605.143.400.000, the total cost of Economic Production Quantity without depreciation is Rp 4.519.976.784.730, and the total cost of Economic Production Quantity with Depreciation is Rp 4.745.969.947.057. For PPC, OPC, and White Cement terak production, the difference sum of Economic Production Quantity without depreciation and Economic Production Quantity with depreciation are 2,4%.
