Abstract
Generator adalah pembangkit energi listrik dengan cara menkonversikan energi listrik menjadi energi mekanik. Pada generator, energi mekanik didapat dari penggerak yang bisa berupa mesin diesel, turbin, baling-baling. Besarnya perubahan beban yang dapat ditanggung oleh generator perlu diketahui yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuan generator sehingga kestabilan generator terjaga. Sistem monitoring ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar putaran motor generator set dual fuel sistem dengan penambahan beban. Pada sistem monitoring putaran motor menggunakan sensing element TCRT 5000. Sebelum itu, dilakukan kalibrasi sensor TCRT 5000 dengan membandingkan dengan alat standar berupa Tachometer. Perubahan putaran motor genset akan ditampilkan pada LCD 20x4 sebagai display. Pengambilan data dengan beban resistif menggunakan lampu sebanyak 9 buah dengan masing-masing lampu 100 Watt. Kedua, pengambilan data dengan beban induktif menggunakan kipas angin, gerinda potong dan bor listrik. Hasil pengujian dan perhitungan beban resistif untuk rata-rata penurunan putaran motor sebesar 274 rpm dan rata-rata penurunan daya untuk beban resistif sebesar 69,01 Watt. Hasil pengujian dan perhitungan beban induktif untuk rata-rata penurunan putaran motor sebesar 397 rpm dan rata-rata penurunan daya untuk beban resistif sebesar 45,6 Watt.=============================================================================================
The generator is generating electric power by means of menkonversikan electrical energy into mechanical energy. On generators, mechanical energy derived from early mover can be either a diesel engine, turbine, propeller. The magnitude of the changes that may be incurred by generators need to know are tailored to the capabilities of the generator so that generator stability maintained. This monitoring system aims to find out the big round motor generator sets of dual fuel system with the addition of the load. On the system monitoring using motor rotation sensing element TCRT 5000. Before that, the sensor calibration performed TCRT 5000 by comparing it with the standard tools in the form of Tachometer. Change the round motor generator will be shown on the LCD display as 20x4. Data retrieval with resistive load using lamp as much as 9 fruit with each lamp 100 Watt. Second, data retrieval with inductive loads using a fan grinding electric drill and cut. The test results and calculation of resistive load for the average decrease rounds amounted to 274 motor rpm and an average decrease of resistive load to the power of 69.01 Watts. The test results and calculation of inductive loads to the average decrease rounds amounted to 397 motor rpm and an average decrease of resistive load to the power of 45.6 watts.
