Abstract
PT. Petronika adalah perusahaan yang menghasilkan produk Dioctyl Phthalate sebagai bahan baku pembuatan plastik. Salah satu variabel kualitas yang memiliki peranan penting adalah volume resistivity. Selama ini pemeriksaan kualitas di PT. Petronika hanya ditentukan berdasarkan analisis secara kimiawi dengan cara mengukur kandungan menggunakan alat ukur kimiawi. Hasil dari pemeriksaan tersebut belum pernah dilakukan analisis statistik sehingga tidak diketahui apakah hasil proses produksi sudah kapabel atau tidak. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa proses produksi pada bulan Januari diperoleh nilai Cp sebesar 2,07 dan 1,99 pada bulan Februari sehingga proses produksi dikatakan telah kapabel. Produk DOP yang tidak sesuai disebabkan karena karyawan kurang terampil dalam memonitoring mesin dan pencampuran bahan baku serta kondisi mesin yang bermasalah sehingga menyebabkan proses produksi terganggu.

PT. Petronika is a company that produces Dioctyl Phthalate products as raw material for plastic manufacture. One of the quality variables that plays an important role is volume resistivity. During this quality examination at PT. Petronica is only determined on the basis of chemical analysis by measuring the content using a chemical measuring device. The result of the examination has not been done statistical analysis so it is not known whether the production process is already capable or not. The results show that the production process in January earned Cp values of 2.07 and 1.99 in February The production process says it has been capable. unsuitable DOP products due to obstacles in machine monitoring and blending of raw materials and problematic engine conditions.
