Abstract

PT. Meshindo Alloy Wheel merupakan perusahaan manufaktur terbesar dan terkemuka yang bergerak di bidang industri otomotif dengan produksi alloy wheel atau lebih dikenal dengan velg alumunium, dimana salah satu tipe alloy wheel yang memiliki peranan cukup penting adalah alloy wheel tipe MS 626 yang merupakan velg standard untuk mobil Daihatsu Xenia dengan salah satu karakteristik kualitas variabel yaitu valve hole location. Pihak perusahaan senantiasa menjaga kualitas terhadap produk alloy wheel OEM tipe MS 626 agar kerjasama dengan Daihatsu tetap terjaga. Alloy wheel tipe MS 626 OEM memiliki standard kualitas sangat tinggi khususnya pada proses pembuatan valve hole dikarenakan kualitas valve hole mempengaruhi kekedapan dan kesesuaian lubang udara yang terhubung antara alloy wheel dengan ban. Sehingga akan dilakukan analisis kapabilitas proses untuk mengetahui indeks kapabilitas proses pembuatan valve hole alloy wheel pada bulan Januari dan Februari tahun 2018 dengan menggunakan analisis peta kendali , kapabilitas proses, serta diagram ishikawa. Diperoleh hasil proses produksi alloy wheel MS 626 tidak kapabel ditunjukkan dengan nilai Cp dan Cpk kurang dari 1 dimana fase I dengan Cp sebesar 0,57 dan Cpk sebesar 0,53, fase II dengan Cp sebesar 0,67 dan Cpk sebesar 0,57. Hidrolis drop dari clamping chuck tool menjadi akar permasalahan out of control valve hole location alloy wheel MS 626 pada fase 1.

PT. Meshindo Alloy Wheel is the largest and leading manufacturing company engaged in the automotive industry with the production of alloy wheels or better known as aluminum alloy wheels, where one type of alloy wheel wheels that have a significant role is the MS 626 type alloy wheel which is a standard alloy wheel wheels for Daihatsu Xenia car with one of variable quality characteristic that is valve hole location. The company always maintains the quality of alloy wheel OEM product type MS 626 in order to cooperation with Daihatsu stay in control. MS 626 OEM type alloy wheels have very high quality standards especially in the process of making the valve holes because the quality of the valve hole affects the purity and suitability of the air holes connected between the alloy wheels with the tires. So that will be analyzed process capability to know index capability of process of making of valve hole alloy wheel in January and February year 2018 by using analysis of control chart, capability process, and ishikawa diagram. The results obtained by the production process of alloy wheel MS 626 are not capable shown with Cp and Cpk values less than 1 where phase I with Cp is 0.57 and Cpk of 0.53, phase II with Cp of 0.67 and Cpk of 0.57. Hydraulic drop from clamping chuck tool becomes the root of the problem out of control valve hole location of alloy wheel MS 626 in phase 1.
