Abstract
Distribusi air umumnya dipasang melalui pipa bawah tanah. Memantau jaringan pipa air bawah tanah lebih sulit daripada me-mantau jalur pipa air yang berada di atas tanah di ruang terbuka. Keadaan ini akan menyebabkan kerugian jika terjadi gangguan pada pipa seperti kebocoran. Kebocoran pada pipa bisa disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, seperti pipa usia, instalasi yang tidak benar, dan bencana alam. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan solusi untuk mendeteksi dan untuk mengetahui area kerusakan bila terjadi kebocoran. De-teksi area bocor akan menggunakan mekanika fluida berdasarkan data yang diperoleh menggunakan sensor tekanan dan Arduino se-bagai mikrokontroler.
Maka dari itu pada Tugas Akhir ini dibuatlah prototype alat deteksi kebocoran pipa. Kebocoran dapat diketahui dengan menggunanakan metode pengukuran tekanan air pada sensor tekanan. Metode ini menggunakan tiga sensor tekanan yang dipasang di beberapa titik sebelum dan sesudah kebocoran. Data yang didapat dari pembacaan sensor dikirim ke komputer menggunakan jaringan komunikasi Ethernet.
Setelah dilakukan pengujian, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tekanan pada pipa menurun setelah terjadi kebocoran. Tekanan yang turun dapat diketahui melalui grafik yang ditampilkan pada LabVIEW dengan ketelitian sampai ±10% dari tekanan awal pipa sebelum terjadi kebocoran. Alat simulasi kebocoran ini tidak dapat menahan tekanan diatas ± 20 Psi.

solution is needed to detect and to know the area of
damage in case
of leakage. Detection of leaking area will use fluid mechanics based
on data obtained using pres
sure sensors and Arduino as microco

this Final Project was made prototype of pipe leak d

tection tool. Leakage can be determined by using a comparison
method of measuring the water pressure. Thi
s method uses a

mounted at some
point before and after the leak.
Data obtained from sensor are sent to the computer using an Ethe
r-
net communication network and displayed on a PC with LabVIEW
software.
After testing, the results show that the pressure on the pipe
decreases after a leak.
The downward pressure can be determined
through the graph shown
in LabVIEW with accuracy up to
±
10
% of
the water pressure at the start of the pipe prior to leakage
.
This
leakage simulation tool can not
restrain
pressure above ± 20 Psi.
