Abstract

Penutuhan kapal merupakan industri yang penting untuk menambahkan material baja yang didapatkan dari kapal-kapal tua yang sudah tidak beroperasi kembali. Kapal-kapal yang sudah tua diusahakan ditutuhkan menjadi baja bekas yang dapat dilebur kembali menjadi material guna membuat kapal baru. Di Madura, industri penutuhan kapal yang ada masih konvensional. Teknologi yang digunakan hanya teknologi potong pada umumnya dan menggunakan peralatan yang seadanya. Hal ini mendorong timbulnya pencemaran. Untuk mengembangkan galangan tersebut menjadi galangan penutuhan yang berbasis penutuhan, tentunya akan menambahkan biaya operasional produksinya. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini analisa proses dan rincian biaya dilakukan dengan membandingkan galangan penutuhan konvensional dan rancangan pengembangan galangannya. Dari perbandingan proses didapatkan bahwa langkah proses dari keduanya hanya berbeda pada proses ¬pre-cutting, namun mempunyai perbedaan mendalam pada detil pelaksanaan dan fasilitas peralatan yang dibutuhkan. Dengan demikian, investasi nya pun akan berbeda. Biaya investasi yang dibutuhkan untuk mengembangkan galangan adalah sebesar IDR 6.323.865.000, nilai tersebut mempunyai payback period selama 6,36 tahun, mempunyai nilai NPV sebesar 6.240.135.405,45, dengan tingkat IRR 20%, dan nilai ROI 20%. Ketika perincian biaya selama empat bulan dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa galangan mampu menghasilkan 2.354 ton baja bekas dan perbedaan pengeluaran dari galangan penutuhan konvensional dan pengembangannya adalah sebesar IDR 1.246.978.465 atau sebesar 5,72%. Perbedaan biaya ini mengakibatkan muncul suatu perbedaan harga jual hasil penutuhan. Apabila keuntungan rancangan galangan yang dikembangkan ditarget untuk sama dengan galangan konvensional, maka harga bekas akan naik IDR 313/kg atau sebesar 6,95% dari harga awal. Namun, apabila harga jual tidak dinaikkan, maka konsekuensinya adalah keuntungan galangan akan berkurang selama beberapa tahun untuk membayarkan pinjaman ke bank dan re-investment. Keuntungan galangan akan turun sebesar IDR 623.424.090 atau sebesar 4.96% dari keuntungan awal.

The old ship are cultivated to recycled into used steel that can be melted back into material for to make a new ship. In Madura, the existing ship recycling yard was still conventional. The technology that used was still common cutting technology and modest tool. This condition will develop into polution. To develop this conventional yard into recycling yard that based on recycle concept, it will centainly increase the operational poduction cost. In this Final Project, process and cost breakdown analysis was done by comparing the conventional yard with the regulatif yard that was designed. From the process comparison of both yard only differ in pre-cutting process. But, it has a profound difference in details of emplementation and the facility needs. Thus, the investment will be different. The cost of investment required to develop the yard is IDR 6.323.865.000. That value has a payback period of 6.36 years, has a NPV value of 6,240,135,405.45, with an IRR rate of 20%, and a 20% ROI. When the cost breakdown for four months was done, it was found that the yard was able to produce 2,354 tons of scrap steel and the difference of expenses from conventional yard and the regulative yard is IDR 1.246.978.465 or about 5,72%. This cost difference resulted in a difference in the selling price. If the design profit of the developed recycle yard is targeted to be the same as the conventional shipyard, the used price will rise IDR 313 / kg or 6.95% from the initial price. However, if the selling price is not raised, recycle yard must be willing to reduce its profits for several years to pay the loan to the bank and re-investment. This will result in the profit received by the recycle yard should decrease by IDR 623.424.090 or 4.96% of the initial profit.
