Abstract

The transport of object either in the form of raw materials or finished object is now becoming very important in an industrial system. Because the process of grouping the number of object and entering the data done manually often lead to calculation errors caused by human error. Therefore, a conveyor tool is required with the addition of an elevator on the conveyor. And use the computer to display the results of the grouping of object.
The workers just put the object on the conveyor, then the object through one of the active sensor is a scanner barcode or infrared sensor and the scan. The sensor gives a signal to the Arduino Mega2560 to give an order to the conveyor in order to distribute the object to a designated place via an elevator or not. For the monitoring process, use the program in LabVIEW which is used to read data sent by ethernet shield via wifi. When the data has been obtained will be processed into a set of data ready to be displayed.
After testing, there are still errors in the form of non-conformity of items that will be grouped on the conveyor with the results of monitoring at LabVIEW. Non-conformity in terms of goods according to height and barcodes that are detected with the results of monitoring at LabVIEW. Grouping of items can be monitored with a distance of up to 130 meters without any obstacles. If the obstacle can be monitored with a distance of up to 15 meters.
