Abstract

Produksi kemasan jajanan tradisonal seperti bikang, klepon, kue lumpur saat ini masih menggunakan alat bantu sederhana, salah satunya pada proses pemotongan kertas karton yang masih penggunakan cutter sehingga memakan waktu yang cukup lama. Oleh karena itu dirancang mesin pemotong kertas berpola dengan sistem rol untuk meningkatkan produktivitas mitra.
Proses pembuatan mesin diawali dengan observasi dan mencari literatur mengenai elemen mesin yang dibutuhkan untuk merancang mesin pemotong kertas, kemudian didapat konsep mesin dan sket mesin pemotong kertas beserta ukuran yang sudah direncanakan. Setelah mendapatkan gambar dan ukuran, dilanjutkan dengan memulai membuat alat. Percobaan pengerolan dilakuakan beberapa kali umtuk mengetahui besar gaya pengerolan, sehingga dapat menentukan besar daya motor yang dibutuhkan pada saat proses pengerolan, serta dimensi elemen mesin yang digunakan. Untuk mengevaluasi hasil potongan kertas kemasan dilakukan uji coba mesin.
Dari hasil analisa percobaan pengerolan didapatkan gaya pemotongan kertas sebesar 13 kgf, daya motor penggerak sebesar 1 HP, sproket yang digunakan memiliki rasio putaran 1:2. Mesin pemotong kertas memiliki kapasitas produksi 900 kertas/jam dimana 1 siklus pengerolan membutuhkan 120 detik untuk menghasilkan 30 kemasan. Dari evaluasi uji coba mesin, didapat potongan kertas kemasan dengan hasil yang rapi dan seragam.

Therefore it is designed a patterned paper cutting machine with roll system to improve partner productivity.
The machine-making process begins with observation and searches the literature on the elements of the machine needed to design the paper cutting machine, then obtained the concept of machine and sket paper cutting machine with the size that has been planned. After getting the image and size, proceed with start making tools. The rolling experiment is carried out several times to determine the size of the rolling force, so as to determine the amount of power required during the rolling process, as well as other engine elements. To evaluate the results of the pieces of packaging paper is done testing machine.
From the results of the analysis of rolling experiments obtained a cutting force of 13 kgf, the power of the driving force of 1 HP, the sprocket used has a ratio of 1: 2 round. The paper cutting machine has a production capacity of 900 paper / hour in which 1 rolling cycle takes 120 seconds and produces 30 packs. From the evaluation of machine testing, obtained a piece of packaging paper with a neat and uniform results.
