Abstract
Proses desain diantaranya penggunaan metode contextual inquiry, card sorting, user journeys, deep interview terhadap user, dilanjutkan dengan studi brainstorming, sketch, studi kebutuhan, analisa aktivitas, studi ergonomi, analisa konfigurasi, studi material, studi interior kit, hingga menghasilkan sebuah usulan rancangan konsep desain kabin air ambulance N219.

Indonesia is a developing country with the population ranked 4th largest in the world in 2015. Georgraphic physical condition consists of 17,504 scattered islands where most of the territorial waters make Indonesia as a maritime and archipelagic country. However, this can be an obstacle in the framework of Indonesia as a developed country without being followed by quality human resources and good medical services. There is still a gap between the people on the main island and the people in remote or remote areas. Many remote area communities have difficulty accessing appropriate health facilities, where chronic illness is often required for transfer to a central hospital or specialist, but this cannot be done as there is no available ambulance transportation mode.
N219 is the right aircraft as an air ambulance, but the cabin is still in the development stage by the manufacturer. The design process includes the use of contextual inquiry, card sorting, user journeys, deep user interviews, followed by brainstorming, sketch studies, needs studies, activity analysis, ergonomics studies, configuration analysis, material studies, interior kit studies, to produce a design proposal ambulance cabin design concept N219.
This design concept is the N219 interior cabin configuration of Air Ambulance with a practical concept. This concept represents several keywords, of which the main core is an air ambulance cabin whose configuration organizes and accommodates the needs of medical crew and patients to conduct medical treatment in the air. The design output is in the form of design sketches, alternative designs, portfolios, and 3-dimensional models.
