Abstract
This study intent to compare two geophysic survey method that is magnetic method and gravity method which applicated to offshore exploration in Cirebon North Sea, West Java. The comparation between two geophysic method that is magnetic method and gravity method which applicated to off\•hore exploration in Cirebon North Sea, West Java can be seen from some compare paramtre, that is, first, survey technic using magnetic and gravity method consist of data acquisition, data processing and data interpretation; second, accuralion degree in data acquisition, data processing and data interpretation in magnetic and gravity method, thirth, resolution degree in data acquisition, data processing and data interpretation in magnetic and gravity method. From those compare, the susceptibility value is ~0,020 and the density value is 2,5 gr cm3 . Beside that, anomaly volume in 3D shape from both anomaly is 0,08.1012 meter kubik or 0,08 trilyun meter kubik for magnetic anomaly and 0,00-1.1016 meter kubik or -10 trilyun meter kubik for gravity anomaly. So that from the compare of anomaly volume add with the other parametre we have conclusion that magnetic method can be used better for small location area and gravity method can be used better for big location area.
