Abstract

Sistem Injeksi bahan bakar adalah sebuah teknologi yang
digunakan pada mesin bakar dalam untuk memasukan bahan
bakar ke ruang bakar dengan cara diinjeksikan dengan tekanan.
Sistem Injeksi bahan bakar dapat berupa mekanikal, elektronik
atau campuran dari keduanya. Sistem awal berupa mekanikal,
namun sekitar tahun 1980-an mulai banyak menggunakan sistem
elektronik. Sistem elektronik modern menggunakan sensor untuk
memonitor kondisi mesin, dan sebuah ECU untuk menghitung
jumlah bahan bakar yang diperlukan. Kali ini penulis bermaksud
untuk menganalisa karakteristik sistem bahan bakar pada mesin
Cummins 4BT3.9. Dengan analisa teknis dan teoritis yang,
penulis bermaksud memberikan hasil maksimal. Maka, metode
yang dilakukan pertama kali adalah menganalisa dan mencari
jenis atau part komponen pada bagian sistem bahan bakar mesin
Cummins 4BT.39. Hal selanjutnya adalah penggambaran skema
sistem bahan bakar pada mesin Cummins 4BT3.9 alur dan sistem
aliran bahan bakarnya. Seperti apa alur sistem bahan bakar mesin
Cummins 4BT3.9. Hasil dari pencarian part atau komponen yang
sesuai dengan karakteristik sistem bahan bakar Cummins 4BT3.9
dilakukan penjelasan mekanisme kerja dari sistem bahan bakar
yang telah dilakukan penggambaran

The Fuel Injection System is a method used in the engine
to inject the fuel into the combustion chamber means of injected
by pressure. Fuel injection systems can be form mechanical,
electronic or a mixture of both. The beginning of a mechanical
system, but since 1980 is began to much used electronic systems.
Modern electronic systems using a sensors to monitoring the
condition of the engine, and an electronic control unit to calculate
the amount of fuel required. At this time the author want to
analyze the characteristics of the fuel system on the Cummins
engine 4BT3.9. With the technical and theoretical analysis, the
author want to give a maximum results. Thus, methods that do
first is to analyze and looking for the type and component parts in
the fuel system 4BT3.9 Cummins engine. Further is drawing
schematic of the fuel system on the Cummins engine 4BT3.9 the
way and fuel flow system Cummins engine fuel system 4BT3.9.
The results of the looking for of the part or component that is in
accordance with the characteristics of the fuel system Cummins
4BT3.9 is to do explanation of the work mechanism of the fuel
system has been done drawing.
