Abstract

Untuk menjaga ketersediaan energi listrik maka diperlukan suatu alternatif pembangkit listrik yang menggunakan energi yang ramah lingkungan dan bisa diperbarui. Salah satu tenaga alternative adalah tenaga air. Salah satunya menggunakan sistem Oscillating Wave Column (OWC). Komponen utama yang menggerakkan generator karena terkena energi potensial air laut yang tersimpan di reservoir dan mendapatkan supply atau asupan akibat energi kinetik gelombang yang kemudian diarahkan untuk mengisi reservoir pada Oscillating Wave Column (OWC). dan Semakin tinggi fluida yang berada pada reservoir semakin cepat pula kecepatan keluarnya fluida. Hal ini di tunjukan dari hasil analisa perhitungan pada ketinggian reservoir 1.5 m mempunyai kecepatan paling besar yaitu 5.42493 m/s, dan Daya yang dapat di hasilkan oleh OWC yang terbesar ada pada diameter tabung 0.6 ketika fluida di dalam reservoir 1.5 m dan periode 4 mempunyai daya sebesar 4.16 kW ======================================================================================================= To maintain the availability of electrical energy it would require an alternative power plants that use environmentally friendly energy and can be updated. One of the alternative energy is hydropower. One is using the system Oscillating Wave Column (OWC). The main component that drives a generator because seawater exposed to potential energy stored in the reservoir and get supply or intake as a result of wave kinetic energy which is then directed to fill the reservoir to the Oscillating Wave Column (OWC). and higher fluid reservoir is located on the faster the speed of the fluid discharge. It is the show of the results of the analysis on the calculation of the reservoir height of 1.5 m has the greatest speed which is 5.42493 m / s, and the power that can be generated by the largest OWC is on the tube diameter 0.6 when the fluid in the reservoir of 1.5 m and a period of 4 has the power at 4.16 kW
