Abstract

Auxiliary Engine digunakan sebagai pembangkit listrik dikapal. Mesin diesel banyak digunakan sebagai motor bantu pada kapal yang digunakan untuk menggerakkan Alternator yang umum disebut dengan Genset. Perawatan Auxiliairy Engine harus dilakukan dengan sebaik mungkin. Hal ini untuk menjaga performa dari Auxiliary Engine. Perawatan Auxiliary Engine harus mengacu kepada pedoman yang diberikan oleh pabrikan. Saat ini perawatan konvensional dengan menggunakan informasi tertulis masih banyak dilakukan oleh perusahaan perkapalan (PT. Meratus Line). Untuk mempermudah melakukan perencanaan, informasi tersebut dapat dibuat menjadi basis data terkomputerisasi. Hal ini akan berguna untuk para ABK ataupun pihak yang terkait sewaktu akan melakukan Maintenance dan Overhaul. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini dikembangkan sebuah basis data terkomputerisasi untuk komponen dan sistem mesin diesel HND Tipe MWM 234 V8, tatacara pembongkaran mesin, jumlah running hours, detail mengenai measurement dan Trouble shooting. Sehingga para pengguna tidak harus membuka Buku untuk mengetahui informasi tersebut. ==================================================================================================== Auxiliary Engine is used as onboard power generation. Diesel engines are widely used as an auxiliary motor on the boat which is used to drive the alternator which is commonly called the Genset. Auxiliairy Engine Treatment should be done as quickly as possible. This is to maintain the performance of Auxiliary Engine. Auxiliary Engine care should refer to the guidelines given by the manufacturer. Currently conventional treatments using the written information is carried out by the shipping company (PT. Meratus Line). To facilitate planning, the information can be made into a computerized data base. This will be useful to the crew or any related parties will perform Maintenance and Overhaul. In this final project developed a computerized data base for diesel engine components and systems HND 234 V8, procedure for dismantling the machine, the number of running hours, details on the measurement and Trouble shooting. So that the user does not have to open the book to find out that information.
