Abstract
Penelitian Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) direncanakan
memakai bahan dengan kualitas khusus dan sedikit berbeda
ketimbang beton pada umumnya. Proses pembuatan RPC
hampir sama dengan pembuatan beton pada umumnya.
Material yang dipakai dalam pembuatan RPC, adalah Semen
type I, Silica Fume, Steel Fiber tipe hooked, Agregat
Granulated Blast Furnace dengan ukuran halus, pasir, dan
HRWR. Komposisi RPC dipertimbangkan dengan melihat
penelitian berlanjut oleh Serdar Aydin dkk pada tahun 2010
dan tahun 2013 mengenai Reactive Powder Concrete dalam
jurnal ACI material. Penelitian dibagi menjadi dua tahap
yaitu tahap mortar dan tahap beton. Perubahan komposisi
tiap benda uji mortar tergantung pada variabel bebas, yaitu
GGBFS, SIilica Fume, dan semen OPC. Sedangkan untuk
tahap dua, variabel bebas yang diapkai adalah
superplasticizer, dan Steel Fiber. Subyek dalam penilitian
RPC dititik beratkan pada nilai kuat tekan beton dengan
target lebih dari 100MPa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menentukan komposisi optimal campuran agar sampel
mencapai kuat tekan yang diharapkan

The research on Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) was
carried out using materials of special quality and somewhat
different with those used in normal concrete. The making
process of RPC is almost similar with that of normal concrete.
The materials for making RPC are Ordinary Portland
Cement (OPC), Silica Fume, hooked-type Steel Fiber,
GGBFS, sand, and HRWR. The composition of RPC was
considered by reviewing the previous research conducted by
Aydin, et al. (2010 and 2013).
The research was divided into two phases, i.e. mortar and
concrete-specimen phases. The composition of mortar
specimens depends on several parameters, such as GGBFS,
Silica Fume, and OPC. In the second phase, the parameters
studied were Superplasticizer and Steel Fiber.
The main objective of this research is to obtain very high
compressive strength of concrete of more than 100 MPa with
optimum mixture proportion.
