Abstract
Dalam rangka penurunan AKI (angka kematian ibu) terdapat beberapa masalah
yang menyebabkan ibu tidak tertolong saat persalinan disebabkan karena tiga
terlambat dan empat terlalu. Tingginya angka kematian ibu disebabkan oleh
banyaknya ibu yang meninggal saat melahirkan oleh sebab itu depatemen
kesehatan membuat kebijakan dalam mempercepat penurunan angka kematian
ibu melalui empat indikator tersebut yang dijadikan pilar untuk strategi safe
motherhood. Hal-hal yang menyebabkan keselamatan persalinan ibu, untuk
memudahkan dalam penyampaian informasi maka dilakukan analisis faktor pada
indikator keselamatan persalinan ibu. Dalam penelitian kali ini menggunakan
rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana karakteristik pada keselamatan persalinan ibu
di Jawa Timur Tahun 2013 dan bagaimana hasil analisis faktornya. Adapun
tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui karakteristik pada keselamatan ibu
saat persalinan di Jawa Timur 2013 dan mengetahui hasil analisis faktor.
Sehingga manfaat yang diperoleh adalah Memberikan informasi untuk
pemerataan sasaran dan adanya kelompok indikator dari hasil analisis pada
keselamatan persalinan pada ibu dapat memudahkan pemerintah dalam
penaggulangan tingginya angka kematian ibu yang di sebabkan oleh persalinan
dan menambah wawasan peneliti tentang aplikasi dari ilmu statistika pada
bidang kesehatan masyarakat. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Timur yaitu
dalam Buku Profil Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2013. Hasil dari
analisis faktor terbentuk lima faktor dan rotasi faktor yang digunagakan dalam
analisis ini menghasilkan faktor yang sama.

In order to decrease the MMR (maternal mortality rate), there are
several issues that cause was not helped mothers during childbirth due to three
and four is too late. The high maternal mortality caused by many mothers who
died in childbirth therefore Departmen health policy making in accelerating the
decline in maternal mortality through the four indicators used for safe
motherhood strategy. The things that led to the birth mother's safety, to facilitate
the delivery of information is carried on a factor analysis of safety indicators
birth mother. The research problem is how the characteristics of the birth
mother's safety in East Java in 2013 and how the results of the factor analysis.
The purpose of this research is knowing the characteristics of the safety of the
mother during labor in East Java in 2013 and know the results of the factor
analysis. So that the benefits are get information for equity targets and the
group indicator of the results of analysis on labor safety in the mother may
facilitate the government in penaggulangan high rate of maternal mortality
which is caused by childbirth and broaden research on the application of
statistical science in the field of public health. The data used in this research is
secondary data obtained from the East Java Provincial Health Office is in the
Book of Health Profile of East Java Province in 2013. The results of the factor
analysis formed five factors and rotation factors used in this analysis produces
the same factor.
