Abstract

Senyawa 5, 7, 4, 3, 5, 7, 2,4 – heptahidroksi-
[3,8]- biflavanon (1) telah berhasil diisolasi dari kayu batang
Garcinia tetranda Pierre. Senyawa berupa padatan kuning dengan
titik leleh 231-2320C. Penentuan struktur senyawa dilakukan
menggunakan analisis UV, IR, 1H dan 13C NMR, serta DEPT
135,.

5, 7, 4, 3, 5, 7, 2,4 – heptahidroksi- [3,8]-
biflavanon (1) compound have been isolated successfully from
stem wood Garcinia tetranda Pierre. Compound was obtained as
a yellow powder with melting point 231-2320C. The structure of
compound was characterized by spectroscopy analysis with UV,
IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and DEPT 135.
