Abstract
Ketel uap adalah bejana tertutup yang mengubah air menjadi uap air menggunakan panas yang diproduksi secara effisien melalui proses pembakaran bahan bakar di ruang bakar. Adanya ketel uap diharapkan menghasilkan panas yang effisien dengan biaya yang rendah, sehingga bahan bakar kayu maupun ampas tebu digunakan. Seiring dengan perkembangan jaman, LPG menjadi bahan bakar alternatifpengganti bahan bakar kayu.

Boiler is a closed vessel can convert water into water vapor using heat is produced efficiently from combustion of fuel in combustion chamber. With boiler is hoped can produce heat efficiently with lower cost, so the fuel like wood and bagasse is used. However, along with the development of LPG is an alternative fuel to substitute for fuel wood.
