Abstract
Dalam perkembangan teknologi kendaraan listrik terutama penelitian mengenai motor listrik sangat diperlukan karena kedepannya dibutuhkan desain motor yang handal dan efisien. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan pembuatan dari implementasi hasil desain dan simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak pada motor permanent magnet axial flux brushless DC (AFPM BLDC). Adapun motor BLDC ini dikenal memiliki power density yang tinggi dan motor ini didesain untuk menghasilkan daya keluaran 5 kW. Selain itu pada tugas akhir ini juga melakukan pengujian performa motor dan menganalisa hasil parameter-parameter pengujian seperti daya, torsi, kecepatan dan efisiensi. Hasil pembuatan motor BLDC ini menghasilkan motor dengan ukuran diameter luar 152 mm menggunakan 12 slot stator dan 8 kutub rotor yang menghasilkan daya keluaran maksimal 3.66 kW, torsi maksimal 17.62 Nm, kecepatan motor maksimal 4778 rpm dan efisiensi maksimum 87.03 %. Sedangkan karakteristik motor BLDC ini yaitu pada nilai ratingnya yaitu pada torsi rating 9.55 Nm, kecepatan rating 3446 rpm, dan daya rating 3.61 kW

In the development of electric vehicle technology, especially research on electric motors is very necessary because in the future a reliable and efficient motor design is needed. In this final project, the implementation of the design and simulation results using software on motor permanent magnet axial flux brushless direct current or mostly known as BLDC motor. The BLDC motor is known to have high power density and this motor is designed to produce output power of 5 kW. In addition, this final project also tests the performance of BLDC motor and analyze the result of its parameter such as power, torque, speed and efficiency. The result of implementation is a BLDC motor with outer dimention about 152 mm with 12 slots and 8 rotor poles which produces a maximum output power of 3.66 kW, maximum torque of 17.62 Nm, maximum motor speed of 4778 rpm and maximum efficiency of 87.03%. While the characteristics of this BLDC motor are the rating value which is at 9.55 Nm rating torque, 3446 rpm rating speed and 3.61 kW rating power.
