Abstract

Ponorogo is one of the regions in Indonesia that has a real threat of landslides, this is due to varied morphological forms such as highlands and hills. One of its areas that has the potential of landslides is Tugurejo Village in Slahung District. The stability of a slope against landslides is influenced by mechanical parameters and hydrological conditions. This study aims to determine the physical and mechanical properties of rocks with Poisson's ratio parameters in areas that experienced soil movement in Tugurejo Village. The methods used are SRT (Seismic Refraction Tomography) and MASW (Multi-channel Analysis of Surface Waves). The distribution of the P-wave velocity and S-wave shows the presence of a low velocity layer with a range between 500-1200 m/s and 150-350 m/s at depths below 5 m, this layer is identified as a weathered layer. In addition, from the analysis of Poisson's ratio, it is known that the parts which experiencing landslides consist of saturated weathered layers and saturated conglomerate layers. This correlates with the results of the analysis of the shear modulus and low young modulus values.
