Abstract
Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIA) adalah sistem yang menyediakan layanan akademik di lembaga pendidikan. SIA menjadi elemen penting dalam sebuah institusi akademik karena sangat membantu dalam melayani berbagai proses bisnis. Salah satunya adalah kegiatan akademik.
Saat ini, beberapa departemen ITS menggunakan sistem informasi manajemen tugas akhir yang terpisah dari SIA ITS untuk memanajemen tugas akhir, tesis, dan disertasi departemennya. Hal ini mengakibatkan data tugas akhir tidak terintegrasi dengan SIA ITS. Selain itu, masing-masing departemen juga memiliki alur pengerjaan tugas akhir yang berbeda.
Untuk menangani permasalahan tersebut, dalam Tugas Akhir ini dibangun modul manajemen tugas akhir, tesis, dan disertasi pada SIA ITS yang bersifat generik agar dapat digunakan oleh seluruh departemen ITS. Hasil dari pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan pengguna pada modul manajemen tugas akhir, tesis, dan disertasi sudah terpenuhi dengan baik. Dari segi kaprodi, dosen, mahasiswa dan tenaga kependidikan, fitur modul manajemen tugas akhir, tesis, dan disertasi telah sesuai dengan proses bisnis yang ada.

Academic Information System (AIS) is a system that provides academic services in educational institutions. AIS becomes an important element in an academic institution because of the ability of this system to manage various bussiness processes. One of them is academic activity.
Several ITS’s departements use their own Information System to manage their undergraduate thesis, thesis, and dissertations so the data is not integrated with AIS ITS. Moreover, each department also has its own workflow for undergraduate thesis, thesis, and dissertation assignments.
To resolve these problems, in this undergraduate thesis a module was built on AIS ITS to manage undergraduate thesis, thesis, and dissertations that is generic so it can be used by all ITS departments.
The results of system testing show that user needs on this module are fulfilled. From the head of a study program, lectures, students, and teaching staff viewpoint, this module’s business process are compatible to be used.
