Abstract

Studi ini merupakan simulasi pemodelan rangkaian feroresonansi menggunakan perangkat lunak ATPDraw. Rangkaian yang disumulasikan disini terdiri dari dua buah rangkaian pemodelan, yaitu rangkaian feroresonansi tanpa kompensasi seri dan rangkaian feroresonansi dengan kompensasi seri. Simulasi ini dijalankan menggunakan gangguan operasi switching satu fasa, switching dua fasa, dan switching tiga fasa. Nilai kompensasi yang disimulasikan dalam studi ini berkisar dari 0,3 μF sampai 0,9 μF. Transformator yang dipakai merupakan transformator step-down 150 kV- 20 kV. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak dari pemasangan kompensasi seri terhadap gejala feroresonansi. Dampak yang dimaksud adalah perubahan karakteristik feroresonansi dan nilai overvoltage yang timbul dari rangkaian tanpa kompensasi hingga rangkaian dengan kompensasi. Hasil dari studi ini adalah dengan penambahan kompensasi nilai overvoltage yang timbul dari fenomena feroresonansi cenderung mengalami penurunan, namun ada beberapa kasus peningkatan overvoltage, hal tersebut disebabkan oleh interaksi yang paling tepat antara kapasitansi sistem dengan induktansi non-linier pada transformator. Pada studi ini juga diketahui bahwa dengan pemasangan kompensasi seri dapat merubah karakteristik dari feroresonansi yang muncul.

This study is a feroresonance circuit modeling simulation using ATPDraw software. The circuit that is accumulated here consists of two modeling circuits, namely the feroresonance circuit without compensation series and the feroresonance circuit with series compensation. This simulation is run using a single phase switching operation, two phase switching, and three phase switching. The compensation values simulated in this study ranged from 0.3 μF to 0.9 μF. The transformer used is a step-down transformer of 150 kV-20 kV. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of installing series compensation on symptoms of feroresonance. The intended impact is a change in feroresonance characteristics and overvoltage values arising from the circuit without compensation to the series with compensation. The results of this study are that with the addition of compensation the overvoltage value arising from the feroresonance phenomenon tends to decrease, but there are some cases of increased overvoltage, this is caused by the most appropriate interaction between the system capacitance and non-linear inductance in the transformer. In this study, it was also known that with compensation installations the series can change the characteristics of the feroresonance that appears.
