Abstract
Bendungan Bendo terletak di Sungai Keyang atau Sungai Ngindeng, Dusun Bendo, Desa Ngindeng, Kecamatan Sawoo, Kabupaten Ponorogo. Bendungan Bendo terdiri dari bendungan utama dan bangunan-bangunan pelengkap, salah satunya bangunan pelimpah. Bangunan pelimpah dari Bendungan Bendo direncanakan berupa tipe pelimpah samping dengan kolam olak sebagai peredam energi berakhir tepat pada kelokan sungai. Hal ini menyebabkan air yang melimpah dari spillway akan langsung menumbuk tebing sungai. Oleh karena itu, pada bendungan ini perlu direncanakan ulang bangunan spillway yang tidak merusak sungai.
Dalam tugas akhir ini, direncakan bangunan pelimpah dengan peredam energi yang berakhir tidak pada kelokan sungai, namun langsung searah dengan aliran air sungai. Analisa data-data dilakukan untuk merencanakan ulang spillway. Analisa yang dilakukan meliputi analisa hidrologi, analisa topogafi, analisa hidrolika, serta kontrol stabilitas dari bangunan pelimpah. Perhitungan yang digunakan dalam perencanaan yaitu meliputi perhitungan curah hujan, analisa distribusi frekuensi E.J. Gumbell dan Log Pearson Tipe III, uji kesesuaian distribusi frekuensi metode Chi-Kuadrat dan Smirnov-Kolmogorov, debit banjir rencana menggunakan metode hidrograf Nakayasu, analisa tampungan menggunakan lengkung kapasitas waduk, sedangkan untuk penelusuran banjir menggunakan metode tahap demi tahap. Analisa kestabilan juga dilakukan pada bangunan pelimpah.
Dari hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan diperoleh besar debit banjir rencana yang digunakan dengan periode ulang 1000 tahun adalah 836,37 m3/s dengan elevasi muka air banjir di atas pelimpah adalah +221,24 m. Direncanakan bangunan pelimpah dengan mercu tipe Ogee dengan lebar saluran 70 m. Kolam olak untuk meredam energi direncanakan menggunakan USBR Tipe II. Konstruksi pelimpah telah dianalisis keamanannya dan dinyatakan aman dalam kondisi muka air normal dan muka air banjir.

Bendo Dam is located on the Keyang River or Ngindeng River, Bendo Hamlet, Ngindeng Village, Sawoo District, Ponorogo Regency. Bendo Dam consists of a main dam and complementary buildings, one of them is a spillway. The spillway of Bendo Dam is originally designed to be a side-channel spillway with an olak pond as stiling basin ending right at the river bend. This causes the abundant water from the spillway to directly hit the river cliffs. Therefore, it is necessary to re-design the spillway on this dam which does not damage the river.
In this final project, a spillway with stilling basin is designed that ends not at the river bend, but directly in the direction of the river water flow. Analysis of the data is needed to re-design the spillway. The analysis included hydrological analysis, topography analysis, hydraulics analysis, and stability analysis of spillway. Calculations used in planning include the calculation of rainfall, analysis of the frequency distribution of E.J. Gumbell and Log Pearson Type III, the suitability test of the frequency distribution using Chi-Quadrate and Smirnov-Kolmogorov methods, design flood discharge using Nakayasu hydrograph method, reservoir analysis using the curvature of the reservoir capacity, while tracing the flood using step-by-step methods. Stability analysis is also calculated on spillway.
The results of the analysis obtained that the designed flood discharge using a return period of 1000 years is 836.37 m3 / s with a flood water level above the overflow is +221.24 m. A spillway is designed with Ogee type lighthouses with a channel width of 70 m. Stilling basin to reduce energy is planned to be USBR Type II. Spillway construction’s stability has been analyzed and it is safe under normal water level conditions and flood water levels.
