Abstract
CV. Alaf Denida merupakan salah satu industri pengolahan kayu lapis yang berada di Babat, Lamongan yang berdiri sejak 2013. Barecore merupakan salah satu produk yang dihasilkan oleh perusahaan dengan pangsa pasar baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa perusahaan tidak mampu memenuhi permintaan barecore tepat pada waktunya. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang perbaikan yang diusulkan guna meningkatkan produktiftas perusahaan pada proses produksi barecore.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan lean manufacture. Lean merupakan metode yang bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan customer value dengan meminimalkan proses maupun penggunaan sumber daya yang ada. Lean berusaha untuk mengoptimalkan aliran produk di setiap proses dari perusahaan hingga ke konsumen.
Dalam penelitian ini, pengamatan dilakukan pada proses produksi barecore. Hasilnya kemudian petakan kedalam value stream mapping (VSM). Kegiatan yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah dianalisis untuk mengetahui berbagai penyebab yang akan menjadi masalah dengan diagram 5 Why. Terdapat empat masalah pada proses produksi barecore yaitu: perbedaan cycle time antar lini produksi, down time karena scrap produk, down time karena bantalan grip patah, waiting karena transportasi. Dari empat masalah tersebut tepilih perbedaan cycle time antar lini produksi yang menjadi masalah utama pada penelitian ini. Saran perbaikan dari penelitian ini adalah menggabungkan lini produksi jumping, gangrip dan planer kedalam lini produksi 1 dengan waktu siklus 1110 detik, grade, radial saw dan lem dengan waktu siklus 1320 detik kedalam lini 2 dan press menjadi lini 3 dengan waktu siklus 1525 detik per 0.6m3. Serta mengaktifkan 2 mesin hydraulic press.

CV. Alaf Denida is one of the plywood processing industries located in Babat, Lamongan which was established in 2013. Barecore is one of the products produced by companies with a market share both from within and outside the country. Based on observations made, it is known that the company was unable to fulfill Barecore's request in time. Therefore, this study aims to design proposed improvements to increase the productivity of the company in the production process of barecore.
The method used in this study uses a lean manufacture approach. Lean is a method that aims to maximize customer value by minimizing the process and use of existing resources. Lean seeks to optimize the flow of products in each process from the company to the consumer
In this study, observations were made in the production process of barecore. The results are then mapped into the value stream mapping (VSM). Activities that do not provide added value are analyzed to find out various causes that will be a problem with diagram 5 Why. There are four problems in the barecore production process, namely: cycle time differences between production lines, down time due to product scrap, down time due to broken grip bearings, waiting due to transportation. Of the four problems, the difference in cycle time between production lines was chosen which was the main problem in this study. Suggestions for improvement from this research are combining jumping, gangrip and planer production lines into production line 1 with a cycle time of 1110 seconds, grade, radial saw and glue with a cycle time of 1320 seconds into line 2 and press being line 3 with a cycle time of 1525 seconds per 0.6 m3. And activate 2 hydraulic press machines.
