Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi menuntut organisasi selalu mendokumentasikan data-data yang diperoleh secara digital. Seiring perkabangan waktu kebutuhan akan data-data tersebut semakin tinggi sehingga menuntut organisasi melakukan peninjauan dan analisis terhadap data harus semakin cepat dan akurat. Data-data tersebut akan digunakan para eksekutif dalam melakukan perencanaan evaluasi dan pengambilan keputusan untuk menuntun arah dalam organisasi tersebut. Seperti halnya ITS yang membutuhkan visualisasi data secara cepat dan akurat dalam memproses data-data yang telah terhimpun.
Direktorat kemahasiswaan ITS merupakan salah satu bagian inti dari manajemen ITS. Dalam menjalan tugasnya direktorat kemahasiswaan dibantu dengan 4 sistem informasi manajemen. Diantaranya: SIM Beasiswa, SIM SKEM, SIM Ormawa dan SIM Prestasi. Keempat SIM tersebut tertimbun data-data yang cukup rumit sehingga membutuhkan waktu untuk memproses data tersebut untuk dilaporkan secara visual kepada pihak eksekutif.
Untuk mempermudah proses visualisasi tersebut, dalam tugas akhir ini akan membuat dashboard eksekutif

kemahasiswaan ITS. Dalam proses membuatan dashboard eksekutif kemahasiswaan diperlukan pembuatan data staging dan selanjutnya dimasukkan ke tabel report kemahasiswaan. Setiap proses transisinya akan dilakukan proses ETL (extrac, transform, load) mulai dari data raw ke data staging dan data staging ke tabel report. Dan terakhir dari tabel report akan di selesaikan dengan pembuatan dashboard menggunakan tools power BI.

Technological developments require organizations to
always document digitally obtained data. As time passes, the
need for these data is higher so that the organization requires
a review and analysis of the data must be faster and more
accurate. These data will be used by executives in conducting
evaluation planning and decision making to guide direction in
the organization. Like ITS that requires visualization of data
quickly and accurately in processing data that has been
collected.
The ITS student directorate is one of the core parts of ITS
management. In carrying out its duties, the student directorate
is assisted with 4 management information systems. Among
them: SIM Beasiswa, SIM SKEM, SIM Ormawa dan SIM
Prestasi. The four SIMs are buried in data that is quite
complicated so that it takes time to process the data to be
reported visually to the executive.
To simplify the visualization process, in this final
assignment will create an ITS student executive dashboard. In
the process of creating a student executive dashboard, it is
necessary to create staging data and then enter it into the
student report table. Every process of the transition will be
carried out ETL process (extrac, transform, load) starting from raw data to staging data and staging data to the report table.
And finally from the report table will be completed by making a dashboard using tools power BI
