Abstract

One of the state universities selection applied in Indonesia
is the Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri
(SBMPTN). The SBMPTN, which after this is mentioned as the
Writing Test Selection, is principled on the success of participant
studies. Participants who have been accepted through the Writing
Test Selection are expected to have good study success during their
lecture. This study will examine the factors that influence the
success of the study of the Written Test Selection participants who
have been accepted at the State Universities. To analyze the extent
to which the prediction of the test subjects in the Writing Test
Selection can examine the success of the participant's study as
measured by the Grade Point (GP) on preparation phase, an
analysis was performed using multivariate regression. The results
of analysis show that the test scores of TPA Figural and TKPA
Mathematics Science scores do not have a significant effect on
Grade Point 1th and 2nd Semetser. Categorical variables in the
study, that is gender, bidikmisi scholarship status, type of high
school, choice acceptance, origin and types of department field
produced a significant difference based on the One Way
Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) test. The regression
equation on PTN-BH data, results that the figural and physics do
not have a significant effect on Grade Point 1th and 2nd Semetser.
