Abstract

Data collection was carried out by survey methods using questionnaires distributed to MSMEs in East Java which received support from Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra. The data analysis technique used to test the hypotheses is the partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). By involving 65 respondents, the results show that direct business development support does not perform a significant result on innovation performance but it has an indirect influence through absorptive capacity. Therefore, it is very necessary for MSME to have a high absorptive capacity.
