Abstract

Proses pengeluaran air dari lubang tambang adalah salah satu tahapan sebelum dilanjutkannya penggalian bahan tambang. Pada beberapa kolam lubang tambang yang dinilai masih ekonomis diperlukan pemompaan lumpur sebelum menyedot air keluar sebelum dilakukan penggalian lanjut. Pengambilan keputusan untuk penentuan metode pemompaan lumpur diperlukan oleh PT ABC. Hal ini didorong karena banyaknya variabel kriteria untuk memilih metode pemompaan lumpur yang terbaik. Karena permintaan dari top management peruntukan pemompaan lumpur ini tidak hanya di Job Site Y saja, tetapi juga dapat dipergunakan di Job Site X dan Z, dimana ketiga lokasi tersebut letaknya berjauhan satu sama lain, maka muncul beberapa variabel yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil keputusan.
Pemilihan opsi metode terbaik dilakukan dengan memilih alternatif dengan peringkat tertinggi. Berdasarkan beberapa hal seperti ketersediaan alat pendukung serta metode pemompaan lumpur yang sudah banyak dipakai pada perusahaan lain, diusulkan 3 usulan metode pemompaan lumpur (pemompaan dengan memasang pompa lumpur pada alat gali yang dihubungkan dengan alat angkut, pemompaan dengan memasang pompa lumpur pada kapal pontoon, pemompaan dengan memasang pompa lumpur pada alat gali dan alat tersebut dinaikkan ke pontoon). Kriteria yang mendasari pemilihan alternatif disusun melalui sesi focus grup discussion (biaya operasional, produktifitas, fleksibilitas, man power, kemudahan maintenance dan suku cadang, serta kemudahan mobilisasi) kemudian pemilihan alternatif dengan peringkat tertinggi menggunakan metode Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) dengan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).
Dari hasil pengolahan data, didapatkan hasil bahwa alternatif 1 (pemompaan dengan memasang pompa lumpur pada alat gali yang dihubungkan dengan alat angkut) memiliki peringkat tertinggi. Walaupun dari sisi fleksibilitas kerja masih kalah jika dibandingkan dua alternatif lain, namun alternatif 1 dinilai paling mudah dalam perawatan dan suku cadang, kebutuhan sumberdaya manusia, serta memiliki kemudahan dalam mobilisasi. Alternatif 1 juga dinilai memiliki biaya operasional yang paling rendah, sehingga metode ini dianggap sebagai alternatif terbaik.

The process of removing water from the mine pit is one of the stages before continuing extraction of mining materials. In some mine pit pools which are considered economical, mud pumping is required before suctioning out water. In order to further excavated, decision making for the determination of the mud pumping method is needed by PT ABC. Selection of mud pumping method is driven by the many criteria variables for choosing the best mud pumping method. Because the demand from top management for pumping mud is not only in Job Site Y, but also can be used in Job Site X and Z, where the three locations are located far apart from each other, several variables appear that can influence the outcome of the decision.
The choice of the best method option is accomplished by choosing the highest ranking alternative. The alternative selected are based on the availability of supporting tools and mud pumping methods that are already widely used in other companies, proposed 3 mud pumping methods (pumping by installing a mud pump on a digging device connected to a conveyance, pumping by installing a mud pump on a pontoon vessel, pumping by installing a mud pump on the excavator and the tool is raised to pontoon). The criteria underlying alternative selection were compromised through focus group discussion sessions (operational costs, productivity, flexibility, man power, ease of maintenance and parts, as well as ease of mobilization) then selecting the highest ranking alternative using the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method with Analytical tools Hierarchy Process (AHP).
Based on data processing, the results show that alternative 1 (pumping by installing a mud pump on the digging tool connected to the conveyance) has the highest rating. Although in terms of work flexibility it is still inferior when compared to two other alternatives, but alternative 1 is considered the easiest way in maintenance and spare parts, human resource needs, and has easiest process in mobilization. Alternative 1 is also considered to have the lowest operational costs, so this method is considered the best alternative.
