Abstract

================================================================================================
The submarine is one of the more marine transportation modes devoted to warships. Ownership of submarines in a naval fleet in a country is a distinct advantage, because the submarine is a quiet but deadly vehicle. So far, Indonesia has 5 submarines, which 3 of that are active and 2 other submarines are still in the making stage, 2 active submarines are the oldest submarines that have been owned since 1981.This thesis aims to replace the speed transfer of submarines, which is more commonly referred to as a propulsion regime system. When it will change speed, the command room will call someone in the control room to change the speed by move the lever in the control room. This thesis attempts to create a simple model by replacing the lever with the push button, plus using a relay circuit to move connections on the battery and motor, so it is expected to make it easier to change the speed of the submarine on the propulsion regime system. It is hoped that by this thesis, it will facilitate the transfer of the submarine regime and the transfer can be done from the command room. This thesis will focus on making simple circuit designs (Wiring Diagram) and modeling to be tested on each transfer of the propulsion regime system. Tests were carried out in two experiments that use one motor and two motors because it produced a different motor rotation. The results obtained in the one motor experiment in the first regime produced 4667 RPM, the second regime produced 5510 RPM, the third regime produced 11680 RPM, the forth regime produced 15952 RPM, and the fifth regime produced 18800 RPM, and experiment models while using two motors in the first regime, motor unable to move, the second regime produced 2522 RPM, the third regime produced 11173 RPM, the forth regime produced the first 14217 RPM, and the fifth regime produced 16727 RPM.
