Abstract
Bahasa indonesia merupakan alat komunikasi, baik melalui lisan maupun tulisan yang digunakan sebagai bahasa pengantar dalam pendidikan nasional. Namun berdasarkan Renstra Badan Bahasa kompetensi siswa dalam bidang Bahasa Indonesia rendah. Hal ini disebabkan metode pembelajaran oleh guru di sekolah kurang kreatif. Sehingga diperlukan sebuah media kreatif yang dapat menunjang pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia khususnya pada pengembangan kosakata.
Perancangan boardgame ini menggunakan metode penelitian diantaranya studi literature, In-Depth Interview, Prototyping, dan Playtesting, yang kemudian Hasil riset dirumuskan menjadi konsep Boardgame “Tangkas Bermain Kata”, sebuah permainan papan adu cepat tebak kosakata Bahasa Indonesia untuk keluarga, dengan penyajian konten kosakata dikemas secara tematik.
Perancangan ini menghasilkan Boardgame berjudul ”Tangkas Berkata”, permainan papan dengan elemen permainan berupa kartu kosakata bergimik papan permainan, papan pencatat, penanda waktu dan token penjawab. Permainan ini menyajikan pengalaman belajar secara kreatif untuk berkomunikasi verbal antar pemain sekaligus membantu perkembangan kosakata anak pada usia delapan tahun keatas melalui permainan tebak kata yang menyenangkan.

Indonesian Language is communication tool, in a form of oral and writing,
used as national education intermediate language. However, according to
Language Institution strategic plan. Indonesian language student competence are
relatively low. This problem caused by the lack of creativity in school teacher’s
learning method, Therefore, Creative Media with the ability to support Indonesian
Vocabulary Language learning are required.
This Boardgame Design procces using four diferent research method,
Literature Study, In-Depth Interview, Prototyping, and Playtesting, which data of
these research are used to formulate Boardgame design concept “Tangkas
Bermain Kata”, fast-paced guess the word boardgame in Bahasa. for family, with
themed vocabulary content presentation.
These Design process produce a Boardgame that named “Tangkas
Berkata”, a boardgame that contain vocabulary card as main game element with
game board, note boards, timer dan answer token as game gimmick. This game
present creative verbal communication learning and supporting vocabulary
development children in an age of eight and above through a fun fast-paced guess
the word game
