Abstract

Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara tropis di dunia memiliki potensi sumber daya bambu yang cukup besar. Semua jenis tanah dapat ditanami bambu kecuali tanah di daerah pesisir. Indonesia merupakan produsen bambu terbesar ketiga di dunia. Namun, pemanfaatan dan ekspornya dinilai masih minim karena budidaya bambu yang belum ditangani serius dan terintegrasi. Kemenperin, 2018. Dari material bambu jenis apus dipadukan dengan beberapa teknik pengolahan bambu seperti teknik bambu coiling, bambu laminasi dan bambu stick. Dengan penerapan teknik tersebut dapat menghasilkan produk modern craft berupa lighting home decor penunjang gaya hidup urban menengah keatas dengan konsep green design. Metode persona mendiskripsikan pola dasar perilaku pengguna ke dalam bentuk yang representatif yang bertujuan untuk memanusiakan fokus desain, skenario pengujian dan bantuan dalam menunjang komunikasi. Konsep desain produk untuk bamboo lighting home decor ini adalah Developing Modernize of the Local Wisdom Value, dengan material bambu menjadi produk modern craft berupa lighting home decor dengan karakter desain post modern, disertai fleksibelitas cahaya dan gesture control sebagai fitur interaktif pada lighting home decor.

Indonesia as one of the tropical countries in the world has considerable bamboo resource potential. All types of soil can be planted with bamboo except land in coastal areas. Indonesia is the third largest bamboo producer in the world. However, its utilization and exports are still considered to be minimal because bamboo cultivation has not been handled seriously and integrated. Ministry of Industry, 2018. From bamboo type Apus materials are combined with several bamboo processing techniques such as bamboo coiling techniques, laminated bamboo and bamboo sticks. By applying the technique, it can produce modern craft products in the form of home decor lighting to support the urban lifestyle up to the middle with the green design concept. The persona method describes the basic pattern of user behavior in a representative form that aims to humanize the focus of design, testing scenarios and assistance in supporting communication. The product design concept for bamboo lighting home decor is Developing Modernize of the Local Wisdom Value, with bamboo material being a modern craft product in the form of home decor lighting with the character of a modern post design, accompanied by flexible light and gesture control as interactive features in home decor lighting.
