Abstract
Saat ini konsep power wheeling sedang dalam perintisan untuk
dapat diimplementasikan di Indonesia, terutama pada sistem jaringan
transmisi. Maka diperlukan suatu metode perhitungan untuk mengetahui
besar biaya power wheeling. Salah satu metode perhitungan yang dapat
mencakup biaya tetap saluran transmisi berdasarkan penggunaan
sebenarnya pada jaringan transmisi adalah metode perhitungan MWMile.
Metode MW-Mile sendiri terdiri dari tiga pendekatan, yakni MWMile
Reserve, MW-Mile Absolute, MW-Mile Dominant. Adapun metode
LMP yaitu biaya tambahan untuk menyediakan daya tambahan satu MW
pada titik tertentu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui
karakteristik dari masing-masing metode pendekatan MW-Mile serta
mengetahui pengaruh power wheeling terhadap aliran daya saluran dan
losses sistem. Pengujian dan analisis dilakukan pada sistem kelistrikan
150 kV Krian-Gresik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa metode
pendekatan MW-Mile reserve merupakan metode perhitungan paling adil
bagi pengguna dan pemilik jaringan transmisi karena besar biaya power
wheeling sesuai dengan perubahan tingkat pembebanan saluran transmisi.
Implementasi power wheeling dapat mempengaruhi aliran daya saluran
dan losses sistem.

Currently the concept of pioneering power wheeling is being to
be implemented in Indonesia, especially on the transmission network
system. It would require a large calculation method to determine the cost
of power wheeling. One of the methods of calculation which can include
fixed costs based on actual usage of the transmission line on the
transmission network is MW-Mile calculation method. MW-Mile method
consists of three approaches, namely MW-Mile Reserve, MW-Mile
Absolute, MW-Mile Dominant. The method of LMP is an additional cost
to provide one additional MW power at a certain point. This research was
conducted to determine the characteristics of each approach MW-Mile as
well as to determine the effect of power wheeling to the flow channel
power and system losses. Testing and analysis was performed on the
electrical system of 150 kV at Krian-Gresik. The results showed that the
MW-Mile method reserve approach is the fairest calculation method for
users and network owners tansmision, because of the cost of power
wheeling proportional with the changes in the loading level of the
transmission line. Implementation of the wheeling power can affect the
flow of the channel power and system losses.
