Abstract

Analisa terhadap busur api dilakukan untuk melindungi pekerja pada area yang berpotensi terjadi paparan listrik. Berdasarkan standar IEEE 1584-2002 yang menganalisa bahaya busur api pada sistem tenaga listrik, dapat ditentukan mengenai persyaratan pakaian pelindung terhadap pekerja atau Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Sebuah metode penyederhanaan yang mengacu standar IEEE 1584-2002 untuk menentukan secara tepat dan akurat dalam penentuan standar PPE dan pemilihan overcurrent protective device (OCPD). Teknik analisa penyederhanaan ini dapat diterapkan pada bermacam-macam OCPD pada suatu sistem tenaga listrik sesuai dengan kemampuan persamaan empiris IEEE 1584. Disajikan secara akurat dalam penentuan PPE dan perhitungan jarak maksimum perlindungan agar cukup untuk melindungi pekerja dari bahaya terjadinya busur api. Studi actual penyederhanaan analisa terhadap busur api dilakukan pada plant PT Chandra Asri yang menunjukkan adanya pengurangan dalam jumlah pengambilan data dan waktu analisa secara signifikan setelah menggunakan metode kurva batas energi. ============================================================================ Arcflash hazard assesment must be performed in order to protect workers in areas that potentially have an electrical arcflash event. Based on the IEEE 1584-2002 standard that analyzed the hazards of arcflash at power system, can be determined on the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). A simplification method that refers to the IEEE 1584-2002 standard to determine precisely and accurately in the determination and selection of PPE levels and also overcurrent protective device (OCPD). This simplification analysis techniques can be applied to a variety of OCPD in an electric power system in accordance with the empirical equation ability to accurately IEEE 1584. Allow for an accurate determination of PPE levels and the maximum flash protection boundary distance in order to protect workers adequately from the the arcflash. The actual study simplification of the analysis of arcflash on plant PT Chandra Asri, which showed a reduction in the amount of data-collection requirements and analysis time required after using the energy boundary curves
