Abstract

Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial Second Generation (DVB-T2).
Multiple Frequency Network (MFN). Jaringan SFN menghasilkan
menunjukkan degradasi.
Untuk meningkatkan kinerja SFN, standar sistem DVB-T2 terdapat
mekanisme teknik diversity MISO (Multiple Input Single Output). Teknik
kombinasi mengalami degradasi, sedangkan 8 kombinasi lainnya
(Kombinasi 6, 11, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21) beberapa daerah mengalami
SFN Gain.
menghasilkan SFN gain.

Digital television broadcasting standards in Indonesia is the Digital
Video Broadcasting-Second Generation Terrestrial (DVB-T2). In the
DVB-T2 system there is a network of Single Frequency Network (SFN)
SFN is network planning alternative other than Multiple Frequency
Network (MFN). SFN network provide spectrum efficiency as well as
improvement the quality of services as a more homogeneous distribution
of the received signal strength in the area of coverage. However, in
practice some areas will also show degradation.
In order to improve the performance of the SFN operation, the
second generation broadcast system DVB-T2 standard incorporates
multiple input single output (MISO) antenna diversity mechanisms This
technique is used to produce a more optimal SFN gain. SFN gain can be
affected by factors Power Imbalance (PI). In this final project will be
evaluating SFN Gain value in Gerbangkertasusila especially in the region
of several application scenarios, including compared the SISO
mechanism with MISO.
Results show that CNR at SISO scheme is higher than MISO scheme,
which is 51.63 dB at SISO scheme and 51.33 dB at MISO scheme.
Surabaya, Driyorejo Gresik, and Kembang Lamongan has an average
CNR higher than the overall average CNR for SISO and MISO scheme.
Evaluation SFN Gain results showed the 21 combination of MISO, 13
combination degraded, while eight other combination (combination of 6,
11, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21) some areas had SFN gain. From this
combination it can be concluded required minimum distance between the
transmitter at 18.09 km to produce SFN gain.
