Abstract
Bendungan Marangkayu di Kabupaten Kutai Kertanegara,
Propinsi Kalimantan Timur dibangun diatas tanah lunak, serta
didesain dengan cutoff trench pada hulu tubuh bendungan, karena
pada as pondasi bendungan sudah direncanakan dipasang PVD
(Prefabricated Vertical Drain) yang berfungsi mempercepat proses
konsolidasi.
Studi bendungan dengan cutoff trench pada sisi hulu ini
akan menghitung stabilitasnya dibandingkan bendungan tanpa
dipasang cutoff trench, menganalisa stabilitas saat bendungan
selesai dibangun dalam keadaan kosong, saat bendungan dalam
kondisi tampungan penuh (fullbank) dan saat terjadi penurunan
muka air secara mendadak (Rapid Drawdown), perencanaan
perbaikan pondasi dengan PVD, serta menganalisa biaya untuk
pembangunan bendungan tersebut.
Dari hasil perhitungan didapat angka keamanan
bendungan tanpa cutoff trench sebesar 1,24. Terjadi peningkatan
angka keamanan pada bendungan dengan cutoff trench menjadi
1,46. Sedangkan biaya untuk pembangunan bendungan dan
perbaikan pondasi sebesar Rp. 76.876.608.742,- ========== The Marangkayu Dam, Kutai Kertanegara Residence, East
Kalimantan was built on soft soil , and designed with cutoff trench at
the upstream of the embankment, because of it, the dam need PVD
(Prefabricated Vertical Drain) to accelerate the process of
consolidation.
Studies the cutoff trench on the upstream will calculate
stability compared the dam without cutoff trench , analyze the stability
when the dam was built, the dams in the condition fullbank, when the
condition rapid drawdown, design of the foundation with PVD ,and
analyzing cost for the construction of the dam.
The calculation of the dam safety factor (Fs) without cutoff
trench 1.24. An increase in the dam safety factor at the dam with cutoff
trench become 1.46 . Whereas the cost for the construction of the dam
and foundation maintenance Rp. 76,876,608,742 , -
