Abstract

Sistem gedung rangka konvensional merupakan system struktur gedung paling banyak digunakan pada wilayah dengan bahaya gempa yang cukup tinggi. Namun, sebelum system rangka muncul, terdapat system dinding penumpu yang merupakan system struktur gedung tinggi yang paling banyak digunakan pada gedung tinggi karena sifat kekakuannya yang tinggi dan daya dukung terhadap beban gravitasi yang tinggi, dan cocok untuk wilayah dengan bahaya gempa rendah hingga sedang. Hotel SwissBell Darmo Centrum merupakan bangunan dengan system rangka dengan dinding geser yang dibangun dengan beton cast in place. Karena menggunakan konstruksi beton cast in place, maka pembangunan hotel tersebut memerlukan waktu yang relatif lama. Sehingga, dalam tugas akhir ini, perencanaan gedung tersebut dimodifikasi dengan system beton pracetak yang dapat mempersingkat waktu konstruksi, dengan system dinding penumpu sebagai system struktur pemikul beban, namun tetap memperhatikan sifat daktail pada system gedung untuk menghindari kerusakan berlebih akibat beban gempa. Oleh karena itu, struktur utama dan system sambungan (connection) dirancang untuk berperilaku daktail. Perancangan meliputi elemen beton dinding, pelat lantai, balok anak, dan pondasi, dan system sambungan. Desain dimulai dengan pre-eliminary design, dilanjutkan dengan perancangan struktur sekunder, perancangan struktur primer, system sambungan, dan perancangan pondasi. Desain beton mengacu pada SNI 03-2847-201x. Desain gempa mengacu pada SNI 1726- 201x, dan system sambungan mengikuti referensi NEHRPFEMA- P752. =========== Conventional frame system is most general used in building located in high earthquake risk. Before the frame system developed, load bearing wall system is mostly used as structure system in high rise building, because the benefit of its high stiffness, and high resistance on gravity load, and it is most suitable in location which earthquake risk is low or moderate. SwissBell Darmo Centrum Hotel is a building using frame system with shear wall, constructed using cast in place concrete. As the consequences of using cast in place concrete, it needs plenty construction time. In this final project, the design will be modified using precast concrete to make short the construction time, using load bearing wall as its main structure system, and maintaining its ductility on the structure to avoid excessive damage caused by earthquake. To achieve it, the main structure and the connection should be designed to achieve ductile behavior. Design including the wall structure, floor slabs, secondary beam, foundation system, and the connections. Design is started by pre-eliminary design, continued by secondary structure design, primary structure, connection system, and foundation system. Concrete design using code SNI 03-2847- 201x. Earthquake resistance design using SNI 1726-201x, and the connections system is using NEHRP-FEMA-P752 as the reference.
