Abstract
Saat ini perjalanan antar kota dari Jember menuju daerah utara yaitu
Bondowoso, Situbondo, dan sekitarnya hanya dilayani oleh bus ekonomi.
Perjalanan Jember-Situbondo menggunakan kendaraan pribadi ditempuh dalam
waktu 1,5 jam, namun bila menggunakan moda bus dapat ditempuh kurang lebih
2,5 hingga 3 jam. Studi ini akan memperkirakan probabilitas penumpang bus
untuk beralih ke moda kereta api dan kesediaan membayar yang diperlukan
sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk melakukan pengoperasian kembali rute
tersebut.
Penelitian ini diawali dengan pengumpulan data primer yang didapatkan
dari hasil pengisian kuesioner oleh responden dengan menggunakan teknik stated
preference. Data primer kemudian diolah menggunakan analisis regresi logistik
biner untuk mendapatkan nilai probabilitas dan Willingness To Pay (WTP).
Semakin lama waktu tempuh menggunakan bus, probabilitas pengguna
bus untuk berpindah ke kereta api semakin besar. Semakin besar biaya
transportasi menggunakan bus, probabilitas pengguna bus untuk berpindah ke
kereta api semakin besar. Probabilitas terbesar pengguna bus untuk beralih ke
kereta api adalah pada skenario tarif Rp 4000,- dan waktu 90 menit yaitu 90,34%
bersedia berpindah dari bus ke kereta api. ========== Nowaday, trip between Jember to Bondowoso, Situbondo, and
surrounding areas is served by economy class buses. Jember-Situbondo trip using
a private vehicle spends within 1.5 hours, but when using the bus mode, it can be
approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. The study estimates the probability of bus
passengers to move to the railway mode and willingness to pay, which are
required for consideration to re-activation the route.
This study is begun with the collection of primary data obtained from the
results of questionnaires by respondents using stated preference techniques.
Primary data is then processed using a binary logistic regression analysis to obtain
the value of the probability and Willingness To Pay (WTP).
If the travel time of bus users increase, the probability of bus users in
changing to train increase too. If the transportation cost of bus users increase, the
probability of bus users in changing to train increase too. Greatest probability of
bus users to move to the train is on scenario price of Rp 4000, - and 90 minutes of
travel time, the probability is about 90.34% willing to move from bus to train.
