Abstract

Energy is a very important requirement for human life.
The development of renewable energy helps human survival.
Solar cells are one source of renewable energy that is effective
and efficient. To obtain electrical energy from solar processing
charge controller is required in order to sell power from the solar
cell diperoles can be stored on the maximum batrai and able to be
processed in such a way. 50 WP solar cell can provide a voltage
of 21.1 volts with a current of 4.23 amperes to arrange storage on
batrai then power on the solar cell with charge controller can be
set by using microcontroller ATmega 8 so that the lifetime batrai
more awake. The power generated by the charge controller at
54.477 watts with a storage capacity at 12 volts 65AH batrai. The
charge controller is able to cut the excess voltage and provide the
level indicator on batrai. ========== Energi merupakan suatu kebutuhan yang sangat penting bagi
kehidupan manusia. Berkembangnya energi terbarukan membantu
kelangsungan hidup manusia. Solar cell merupakan salah satu
sumber energi terbarukan yang efektif dan efisien. Untuk
memperoleh energi listrik dari pengolahan solar sell dibutuhkan
charge controller agar daya yang diperoles dari solar cell dapat
disimpan pada batrai dengan maksimal dan mampu diolah
sedemikian rupa. Solar cell 50 WP dapat memberikan tegangan
sebesar 21,1 volt dengan arus sebesar 4,23 Amper untuk
mengatur penyimpanan pada batrai maka daya pada solar cell
dapat diatur dengan charge controller dengan menggunakan
Arduino Uno sehingga lifetime batrai lebih terjaga. Daya yang
dihasilkan oleh charge controller sebesar 54,477 watt dengan
kapasitas penyimpanan pada batrai 12 volt 65AH. Charge
controller mampu memutus tegangan berlebih dan memberikan
indicator level pada batrai.
