Abstract
Karbon monoksida (CO) merupakan gas yang tidak berwarna dan tidak berbau, hasil dari pembakaran yang tidak sempurna dari material karbon. Karbon monoksida sangat berbahaya bagi tubuh manusia terutama pada daerah dengan tingkat polusi udara yang sangat tinggi.
Pada tugas akhir ini telah dibuat sistem yang mampu mendeteksi keberadaan gas CO, menyatakan besarnya kadar gas, dan sebagai pengontrol kadar gas CO. Pada perancangan tugas akhir ini digunakan sensor TGS 2600 yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi tingkat kadar karbon monoksida diudara sekitar. TGS 2600 adalah transducer utama yang digunakan dalam rangkaian ini, yang merupakan sebuah sensor kimia atau gas sensor. Pada perancangan alat ukur karbon monoksida pada ruangan berdimensi 2m x 1m x 2m digunakan mikrokontroller arduino mega ADK sebagai controller dan untuk layar tampilannya digunakan LCD 2x16. Dari hasil pengujian, dapat dikatakan baik karena didapatkan rata-rata prosentase error sebesar 3%, presisi sebesar 95% dengan kadar CO yang terukur sebesar 0 hingga 0,110 dan memiliki batas toleransi ±0,05. ========== Carbon monoxide (CO) is a gas that is not coloured and smell, the results of the burning that was imperfect from material carbon. Carbon monoxide very dangerous for the human body especially to the area with the very high air level of pollution.
In this thesis was made a system that could detect the existence of gas CO, stated the size of the level of gas, and as the controller of the level of gas CO. It uses sensor TGS 2600 that had a function of detecting the level of carbon monoxide in the air. TGS 2600 were main transducer that was used in this series, that was a chemical censor or the censor's gas. In implement planning measured carbon monoxide to the dimensional room 2m x 1m x 2m was used microcontroller arduino mega ADK as controller and for the screen display was used by LCD 2x16. The results of the test, could be it was good because of being obtained in general the percentage error of 3%, precision of 95% with the level of CO that was measured of 0 to 0.110 and had the tolerance limit 0.05.
