Abstract
Dalam tugas akhir ini, sebuah Konverter KY diperkenalkan sebagai
alternatif pilihan penggunaan kenverter yang semakin luas. Konverter
KY ini bekerja sebagai Voltage-Boosting Converter yaitu meningkatkan
tegangan output-nya. Dipilihnya konverter ini dikarenakan kelebihanya
di bandingkan dengan konverter konvensional lainya yaitu dapat
menaikkan tegangan secara maksimal, sehingga penggunaan konverter
ini sangat cocok sebagai suplai pada perangkat charger, namun
penggunaan konverter ini dengan metode konvensional akan
memunculkan ripple tegangan output dan noise yang tinggi. Untuk
mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dalam tugas akhir ini akan diterapkan
metode soft switcing pada konverter jenis ini, sehingga di harapkan
dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan kemampuan dari Konverter KY dalam
aplikasi yang sesungguhnya. ========== This final project, the soft switching technique is applied to the KY
converter in order to giving an alternative choice for the increasing of
converters in industrial world. This KY converter is working as Voltage
–Boosting Converter that is increase the input voltage. This choose
because of the advantages such as fast transient response, small output
voltage ripple, high control stability, ect. And it makes this converter is
perfect to be a power supply for charging device. However, by applying
thisconverter in convensional mode, the electric magnetic interference
(EMI) Noise in increased. Therefore, the soft-switching technique is
presented on this final project. Hopefully it can increase the eficiency
and the ability of KY converter in industrial application.
