Abstract

Pemanjatan pohon umumnya dilakukan secara tradisional yaitu dengan memanjat pohon kelapa secara langsung tanpa menggunakan alat. Pemanjatan secara langsung mempunyai resiko kecelakaan yang besar, karena tidak adanya pengaman saat memanjat. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dirancang sebuah alat pemanjat pohon portable yang aman, nyaman dan mudah dioperasikan. Dari perencanaan dan perhitungan yang dibuat alat pemanjat pohon mempunyai gaya pada sling sebesar 68,65 kgf dan diameter minimal sling sebesar 4,153 mm.

Tree climbing is generally done traditionally by climbing coconut trees directly without using tools. Direct climbing has a high risk of accidents, because there is no safety when climbing. To overcome this problem a portable tree climbing tool is designed that is safe, comfortable and easy to operate. From the planning and calculation made a tree climbing device has a force on the sling of 68.65 kgf and a minimum diameter sling of 4,153 mm
